8/31- LOC Laker 18.13- pic

Recommended Posts

went out for a quick trip after work- set up at 5 pm, set up with the usual fall king spread. First- took a king on a green glow spin dr, Atomik fly- on the dipsey 400 out on 2.5 setting. Then a steelie down 90, on a mag spoon- gator. Changed colors up and made a turn to go back through the same water. Took the laker down 125 on a mag spoon- at 2.6 mph- on the probe. Set back up, one more rip on the dipsey- but no one home. Back at the weigh station at 7 pm.

As you may be able to tell, the lake was dead calm and it was Africa hot. cold water was moving in quickly near the bottom, had around 46 degrees on the probe the entire trip. When we quit- fish and bait everywhere from 40-100 down. If the weather holds off, it is going to be one hell of a weekend!

Foster,

Lars was just in town this past weekend... We fished hard Friday and Saturday, he left on Sunday...caught a pile of fish offshore both days, nothing bigger than about 12 lbs though. Hope the fish holds up there for you.
