Pa223 43 Posted September 19, 2017 Heading up for last trip this weekend. With matures heading in, is there any consistent brown fishing left? ? I've never targeted browns so was wondering if that is an option. Any tips greatly appreciated. Pa223 43 Posted September 19, 2017 Okay I think I confused myself. When you say long leads I was thinking behind the ball. Are you referring to that or the lead between FF? Thanks in advance Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Brendan greisch 0 Posted September 19, 2017 I fish 40 feet behind the ball im worried about the pole hook upSent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
whaler1 879 Posted September 19, 2017 Thank you!!! Any specific temp or depth I am looking for?Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile appSpread them. If I was fishing 60 foot and was running 4 rods I would start 30 to 55 down. Browns like 60 degree (ish) water. Stay away from gin clear water. If water is clear they may be out a little deeper. Don't be afraid to change things up until you get a good bite. Then just stay on em. Lots of trial and error and learning in this sport.Sent from my LGL52VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Pa223 43 Posted September 20, 2017 If you are fishing browns, lose the flasherSent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario UnitedX2. In my opinion if you are fishing flashers (for salmon) I use heavy mono and skip the leader. It really isn't a stealth preaentation.Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

hard knox 71 Posted September 20, 2017 If you are going for browns run just spoons and stick baits look for temp around 60 near bottom spreed you pattern out use you boards ,riggers and flat lines you could use tad poles and clip on weights to get some depth . 15 lb flouro leader and natural colors on your baits unless you are in dirty water they eat alot of gobys off the bottom .
