    There are a lot of guys that show up just to take all the fish guys are willing to give away. One guy showed up at a tournament with a pickup truck and loaded the bed with trout and salmon on ice. My crew splits up what we want and finds people ahead of time like Bill is doing to take the rest.

    That is always the bad part of these tournaments. Hundreds of fish are caught and brought to the scales but after the weigh in all these fish which during non tournament fishing often would be released are now just being thrown out. For me it is a reason not to participate in tournaments anymore. Besides I never do very well in these tournaments which is another reason I stopped with tournaments. The organizers of these tournaments should look in into donating the catch much like deer meat is donated.

    I bleed via gilling then remove lateral line red meat on all my fish. Not sure if it was a silver bass or white bass (probably doesn’t matter). White perch out of brackish water are delicious. They eat shrimp.

    Looking for ideas on putting two EasyTroll Cannon hand cranker downriggers on this 188 Hurricane Sundeck boat. Short booms, maybe 24"s or rod holder ideas too Tried rail mounts, the rails on these are so small in diameter nothing holds.     We’re the two guys USDA or USFWS. They’re both Feds but I believe Fish & Wildlife controls migratory birds. Either way good to hear

    Got to admit, it's impossible to argue effectively with someone who thinks that they have all the answers and that anybody who says differently is lying to them. And when you admit that you could be wrong, they use it as ammunition to claim that you've never been right. So much for intellectual humility. But hey, different strokes and all. Meliora.

    There are two marinas on Braddocks. Westpoint and Manitou Beach. Westpoint would probably be the easiest.

    I am renting an Airbnb at bucks pond braddocks Bay area, I have a penn yan 255 intruder and want to know what Marina would be good for a transient slip for next weekend? Would prefer west of if you think the salmon fishing would be better that way. Thanks for any help

    Fish when you can and make the most of it! It’s was a slow struggle today. Lots of bait and marks east of sandy to watoma bouy in 70-100 fow. Also some nice screens in 140 fow NE of the bouy. But few takers ended with 2 lakers, 2 small kings and a small Atlantic. no patterns. Diver, 300 steel, rigger. We threw everything at them. I will admit we dragged bottom with cowbells for 1 of the lakers Also donated lots of skin to the biting flies!

    I have told people this. Taste just like walleye, perch, crappie, bluegill. All very mild tasting fish

    We fished out of Bear Creek today,we heard gunfire out there.Inside was slow fishing for us also.We slid out to 330fow.we found a break and picked away at steelhead top 40fow

    Well just in case then lol. 240 pounds last Friday and Sunday. Saturday was a blow off day. Both days boxed by 9:30 am, 12 fish boxes. Be nice to see folks that want them, get them. Tons of tournament folks would be happy to give them away.

    I'm from up around Ogdensburg on The River. We have watched helplessly as these things have one by one, completely destroyed entire islands. The Three Sisters out in front of Brockville smell so bad now that it's worth plotting a course around them if possible. And there's no denying the toll they have taken on fish. These birds can dive up to 30 down giving them the opportunity to decimate fry populations after hatches. And try to find a perch these days! I hope the DEC someday gets their head out of their ^#% and gives us a chance to make a fair fight out of it. Right now, we're losing big.
