Slide the entire assembly out of the track for pleasure cruising. They make rubber inserts to fit in the empty track... kind of turns it into a step pad... Something like this....

No I did not miss the reason for your post. I even gave it a little heart. I was merely commiserating about food going to waste and pointing out that tournament organizers do not take this into account. Your post shows to me that we are on the same wavelength where it comes to wasting good food. And Gambler, I remember that pickup truck being loaded. It was in Wilson during the tournament where almost everybody boxed out before 10 in the morning. I remembere wondering if the guy was going to use it as fertilizer or whether he was a sushi restaurant owner. He must have had four or five hundred pounds of fish in that pickup. That truck must have stunk ever after. That was after the winter that was no winter and the fishing that spring was absolutely fabulous.
