  2. 16 or 18# shark weight. works fine on the water its mounted on piece of track filler/tread?
  3. Hi There, came across this thread in search of this same part. Had a mishap and it fell in the lake last year. Turns out it is obsolete now and not having any luck finding a replacement. If anyone still has one around it would be a Down rigger saver for me, thanks in advance!
  4. Looking for a used in good shape seating arrangement similar to pictured please reach out if you have something 585-410-1599
  5. AA: What is the model# of the Solace four blade prop you use. I have a 2006 Merc 9.9 4 stroke with the stock three blade prop that I use as a kicker for trolling on my 19' glass boat. Just wondering if a four blade will be better suited for 1.8-2.5 mph that I usually am trolling at.
  6. Good awesome! Great job guys! DEC is stocking browns by my work soon. A couple years ago, the cormorants were there for days crushing our stockings.
  7. Thanks guys! I have used the round ones but they didn't seem too stable. I will check out the Trax's.
  8. I use the 16 lb torpedo rigger wieghts. Traxtech makes a nice cradle/holder for these wieghts . It slides right into there track. I've got 3 of them on my boat. They have been great for 10 years +.
  9. Hi there, still have your auto tanner? Does it seal and pressurize fully still?
  10. I haven't been out since my first trip! Our weekend weather has sucked for my boat all spring. I'm too old to be cold and miserable.
  11. Yes forest rangers are in the same union as encon officers
  12. My son just got a job as a seasonal assistant NYS Forest Ranger for the summer. He is set to graduate from the SUNY ESF Ranger school with a degree in En Con next month. I know he is interested in becoming a full time NYS Forest Ranger, and from what I have read these positions are sworn officers and take a 6 month NYS academy training that combines law enforcement training with en con training. Are these positions also part of the PBA union, or is this something different? I thought I saw above where someone said they were, but I get the forest ranger position confused with the game warden...
  13. Run the separate wire. I ran wire from the rear battery to a blue seas fuse panel under my dash and then connected the front graph, fishhawk and other things to that.
  14. I think law enforcement is all under the same PBA union. The DEC ECO’s could not use lethal force if they didn’t have the protection of a large police union representing them. They would be put in jail or sued out of existence without the blanket protection of the PBA.
  15. I used round cradles and layed the torpedoes in sideways. Tail toward the back and they worked out fine but they were on a flat raised board across the top of the transom. I'll see if I can find a picture.
  16. Yesterday
  17. No problem. A single NOCO 10amp charger that has three charging banks on it. Your 20 amp chargers will work just fine.
  18. The 20 or 25 years are the first possibility to retire and get healthcare paid for by the state not all of it, but somewhere around 80%. That really is the important thing. Because it provides healthcare for families. Many officers will stay in service until their kids are out of college because then the kids have healthcare until the age of 23. For those who want to start out in a new career this is a very good benefit, because healthcare is taken care of. I wonder what would happen if the ECOs would somehow manage to become part of the policeman's trade union. That would probably drastically change the picture.
  19. As far as inflation adjustment is concerned, not so good. During the first five or maybe six years of retirement there is no inflation adjustment. Afterwards, there is yearly adjustment of maximum 3% per year.
  20. I am setting up my boat with a Minn Kota Terrova on the bow with a bow mounted Helix 5 Hummingbird and then a Helix 7 Hummingbird at the back of the boat. I just read that wiring a fish finder/electronics on the same battery as the trolling motor could cause interference with the sonar/Down imaging. Have any of you experienced issues with this? It would be so much easier just to use the same battery in the bow for both the Terrova and Helix 5 Hummingbird. The Terrova has the Dual Spectrum Chirp transducer built in and will connect to the Helix 5 and I want to be sure to get everything I can out of it. The Helix 7 in the back of the boat will have it's own transducer on the transom. What do you think? Should I just run the extra wire all the way from the back and link in the two Hummingbirds off the Outboard's starting battery?
