Hey everyone! Just bought an 86 StarCraft with an omc cobra 4.3. boat wiring was messed with by previous owner and it was a disaster. Determined the starter and assist solenoid were bad replaced both of those, still wouldn’t start. mechanic bypassed the ignition, and engine turns over just fine. Been diagnosing the wiring and looking at original manual and other forums, but I’m still stumped. have a purple wire that no matter what I do I just can’t trace it. any help or insight would be appreciated, anxious to get fishing as we know the boat and motor are solid!

I agree Are there any live web cameras that you could get a read on near shore conditions I used to see a Weatherbug feed from Forest Lawn but that no longer seems to be up and running

I don’t think Lady O uses the weather apps or forecasts. She has a mind of her own. I get that it’s a bummer to get to the launch and the 1-3 ft waves forecast are clearing the 10 ft breakwall. I’ve been there too many times. I only live 10 mles from the lake , but anyone traveling distance would naturally like to know what to expect. Unfortunately, it’s a crap shoot One thing I’ve learned over the years. Add 1 ft to ANY wave prediction from anywhere. If it says 1-3 ft. You can bet on 2-4 Good luck. It is what it is

After some bad luck my first two times out, (hung up Tom and another hunter shot at a bird I was working) I got back after it in a new spot and scored on a beautiful NY public turkey. Struck him owl-hooting for the road and then closed 800 yards fast to get into his bubble. He was fresh off the limb and once I got to 120 from him I sat down and did two light yelp sequences. He hammered at both. Then I went to no call and straight scratching. He hammered at every scratch and closed fast. I picked the gap in the brush that he ended up showing in because I really focused on hearing drumming! First time I’ve ever heard it! Ended with a 42-yard bang flop from the 410. Dead by 6:13! Being aggressive paid off big!
