  1. Tank....he wouldnt have made it by me without me flingin an arrow! Nice buck!
  2. Yup they all got gear out. Im afraid to say that the season looks to be like another short one. Weather has been very mild again so far this fall. Either way i dont care. I either ice fish or ride the wheeler!
  3. I usually run 4 metalic purple ones either with a white or black ring. My dipseys are usually the hottest thing going. At times Iwill toss in a clear or black and sometimes glow froggy, but purple metalic is my go to.
  4. No really Jax......thanks for the phone call to see if I wantes to come out.....I guess you really dont want your money I owe you. It is making me some sweet interest in my bank account......like .000000001 percent!
  5. Im also using the floro leaders and havent got bitten off. It has gotten frayed pretty good, but never broken. I havent seen it out produce my regular tip ups all that much. I am running 5 and 5 most of the time.
  6. Scored me a 7pt this morning! Well, Iwould have but the cop wanted to have some fun first. But, I got the rack anyway!
  7. I have run both. We had a 1985 Penn Yan 21'. It lasted us till we stepped into a 1990 Bayliner 2556. The Penn Yanis down at Hanks marina on Port bay currently and the owner loves the boat. Original motor without any motor mount issues. Only thing that went bad on the boat was the fiberglass piece over the gas tank, which was an easy fix. It handled really well in rough seas. The Bayliner we have now is a great boat too. Lots of fishing room and and the layout is unheard of in a 25' boat. We fish 6 guys on it alot and it has pleanty of room. AS for spending the weekend on it.....great for that too. Only problem with this boat is it is a little underpowered with 6 guys planing is hard and speed is lower 20's. To answer your question above.....I only know what a tunnel drive is. Basically there is a half moon shapped tunnel that the prop and shaft sit in instead of them being under the boat.. It is very popular in low water places like ohio.
  8. Looks like im trying it this spring. Stuff works wonders form what they say and the guys on GLA.
  9. Im surprised there isnt first aid on there. Oh well, Im going this sping sometime...Ihave the paperwork and doctors form filled out already.

  13. You can buy the reels pre spooled from ATOMIK's website. Its proly the easiest thing to do. Tom knows all the copper gurus so there isnt anyone better to ask or buy from.
  14. Erin, I thinkif there wasnt a 2 hour distance between us it could be a possability! I would also be worried about his marriage becasue I am sure I could convince him to go fishing and hunting more
  15. Where do they find time to charter? Must be nice to have money!
  16. I know, but I was actually waiting on a 130 8pt a friend was out of my stand one night but this 8 point came by instead. There is also a nice 10 running around there too.

  19. Puttin' the smack down! Nice job! I got 4 hard days of hunting this weekend and I hope to get another. Its addicting! I know there are some better ones around than what I shot, but I just got to get close enough.
  20. OK, here we go! There is always two sides to the story. You can go out and run around at 60mph making 1000 cast to flip a LM into the boat. Or you can troll around pulling metal waiting for a Salmon to bite. Both have there down times, both have thier exciting times, and both are fun to do! Maybe you guys just need to be cultured some more. Narrow minded thinking isnt healthy. By the way......I want one of them 40" ers on my wall after this years ice fishing season! The keep eluding me.
  21. Never tried it in the fall time. They are there and they have to eat, so if you have the patience you should be able to figure something out.
  22. Oh no  here we go! Just as I was trying to mediate both sides you throw salt on the table!
