  1. Here is a photo of two we put on the board today. After doing this for 33 years, today was the most kings we boated in a 6 hour trip in my career. Doubles, triples, quads and even five rods at once. Stupid king fishing! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Next time, use a piece of fishing line. Put it around the fish and cut it where it meets. Measure it when you get home!
  3. Same rules as last year. It is open to all ports.
  4. To the person that purchased this, mount the compass as far forward on a bulk head and as close to the floor as possible. Also do not over tighten the nut on the steering shaft. There was a specific torque you had to tighten it to but I do not remember what it was off hand. I can look to see if I still have my manual somewhere.
  5. I purchased the Great Lakes Roller Diver rods and they are really nice rods.
  6. Anyone have any good spots for perch in the Clayton/Cape Vincent area? Staying at Burnham Point State Park. Any good walleye spots would be appreciated also. PM me if you don’t want to share in the open forum! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Gambler Rigs will be donating a prize pack again for this tournament. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. If you can find the trashcan with the green stripe on the top, buy that one too!
  9. Boat size is what keeps me from entering bigger tournaments. Case in point the OOO this past weekend. Day one, flat seas and smaller boats were able to compete. Day 2, The smaller boats dropped like a rock and the bigger boat jumped into the money. You do not have the boat control in the rough stuff with a boat like mine.
  10. This trip is a memory that will last a life time! Congrats!
  11. I was out Wednesday night and king fishing was good 110-135. Inside of 50' was solid bait.
  12. I put my probe at 50 degrees. Another rigger above it (62 degrees) and another below it (42 -45degrees). I put my 2 high side divers on the opposite side if the boat as the high rigger and the low side on the other side.
  13. There is only 25 boats. It will be just like a normal weekend at the Oak.
  14. It might be a little tough getting info since there is a big tournament this weekend. I can tell you a little further to the East, 120 - 225 has been holding kings.
  15. You can go wrong there when the boat will be getting fixed and you will be without a boat. Seriously, do some research on Trackers and their history of hull splitting / leaking issues. There is nothing worse than missing out on our already short season because of warranty work.
  16. I would steer away from Trackers. They are notorious for having hull issues.
  17. Try the fingerlakes part of this forum. You are in the Canadian reports section.

    Late spawn

Canada closed a couple Lake O tribs during the spawn to protect spawning fish. Not a bad idea for certain stretches of tribs with natural reproduction. It benefits the entire fishery not just the lake guys or stream guys. Yes it limits access to areas but we should all care about the fishery and not ourselves.
  19. Congrats Mike! What was behind those cowbells?
  20. Chris Vogt was the one that got in there a couple years ago I believe. Check with him. If his boat fits, you should have no problem.
  21. A couple guys got into the Brockport Yacht club two years ago.
