  1. Braid is not as finicky as wire is and easier to fish and it gets similar depth compared to wire. I would love running my braid divers as long as the fleas were not an issue. 65 lb power pro.
  2. Usually one of the two lakes are good for LL's. How deep are your fishing and whats the water temps.
  3. Sucks from I'm hearing.
  4. Run riggers, divers, lead-cores and coopers according to the depth of the fish on your screen and what you have on the boat . Simple as that. Good luck.
  5. Ice cold water dictates a slow troll ( real early spring). As the water warms the browns get more active, pick up the speed but make sure to run lures that work at the faster troll.
  6. Need a wind direction before you can determine what the water out of the bay or Oswego is going to do and a bigger issue is if the forecast is right. If the wind is moving water temps around on the open lake, Oswego, head deeper. If the water temps are consistent in the Bay fish the Bay. Good luck. Either way be safe.
  7. This motor runs like new. I have fished with it.
  8. Not sure what you mean by numbers but if your running 4 riggers on a small boat you want to set your deeper riggers first. Keep the boat going straight. Best of luck bud.
  9. You mean the screw threads are stripping out?
  10. I'm retired for 2 yrs from running Charters out of the Little Salmon and haven't heard anything good from my friends fishing the Bay. Best I can do Bud. You might want to go north or west. If I was fishing I would run west.
  11. Did you look at the weights on that board? Few and far between is not what thats showing.
  12. Unscrew the cap and look in there if you can't replace the gauge and don't want to buy a new tank. Simple.
  13. what brand might be helpful.
  14. No. When one of the 3 or 4 tabs break or ware out, spend 2 bucks and replace it. There is a reason they break and ware out. If you try to prevent that it will cost you more money in the long run. Also you have the option to change ring colors for different water conditions.
  15. From the reports I'm getting friom friends, Brown fishing in the bay is very spotty. The guys out of Oswego are fishing west and doing pretty good. I chartered out of the little salmon for about 15 yrs (retired now) and I would run west if I wanted to catch Browns. Things can change over night though depending on the winds. Good luck.
  16. I've run SS on my scottys since 1994. Never found any reason to try braid.
  17. I've read your previous posts. You may claim to be a republican but you are not a conservative. STFU. With all due respect.
  18. Thanks guys. Love my baby z's for light line and lures.
  19. Anybody know the name of the company that bought the old Z-board inline planer board company? I got a couple old sets of baby z's and have a few friends that would like to get them.
  20. LOL. I just read this post. Set your drag correctly. Good quality fluorocarbon leaders in relativity clear water will get you a couple more bites.
