    Boat Trailers

    Bunk, more evenly distributed weight. Think about the roller trailer for the 20' or so, say it has 24 rollers with each one 3" long and touching the trailer with 1/2" on each roller...gives you support of 6' x 1/2" for the entire boat, IMO thats a lot of concentrated stress on the hull.

    That spring fishing was fun back then, green water and all the fish in close and all the boats running double big boards, made things interesting to say the least.

    small boat harbor on Erie (Buffalo) is now owned by NYS and they sold the lease, the new lease allows for a 7% increase the next 3 years, so the rates will be 7% on top of the 7% from the year before, I guess it called inflation?

    1st year of the ESLO Derby? Trying to remember that year. They had the grand prize at Olcott NY a Grady white (I think) all rigged with a truck to pull it......I didn't win it but had a lot of fun since then, I want say to 1982ish???. Anyway been in it every year since and still looking for the grand prize LETS HOPE FOR 2017!

    with all the talk of reduced blowback does any one just use a rubber band release. I get it with all the stuff you need to get the bait down and less is better to reduce blow back. Sure the set up has to be softer with a rubber band or your resetting for false releases, but I was just thinking about it, pretty cheap and no drag....thoughts
