    Broke a tip on a copper rod while landing a king. We think the line was wrapped around the tip

    I bought a bulk spool (10,000 ft) of 7 strand Blood Run on sale 4 years ago and have had no problems. Loaded several reels for others along with my 3 for about $20 per 1000 ft. Still got enough for a few more. We run 40 or 50 lb mono at the end to eliminate the curly Q's. Before that, I tried the 19 strand Torpedo on one reel and besides being more limp didn't notice any major difference. Merry Christmas!

    I installed an EV-100 on my 25ft Pursuit with a 250 Yammie 2 years ago, and could not be happier. I was on the fence about getting the bigger pump, but as the info above says I matched the ram capacity to the pump, and have had zero problems in 250-300 hrs with the .5 pump. Not sure if your E-tec needs to be running. As long as the AP is powered up it should control the E-tec with the kicker. Good luck with your project.

    I normally would say to try around Ginna Nuke plant in Ontario, but It is shut down for refueling and has no warm water discharge. Anywhere along the Wayne Co. shoreline would be good following Rolmops suggestions

    My livewell and washdown pumps have screens on them under a plastic cap that unscrew for cleaning. I have quick disconnects on hoses also. With everything removed, I bump both switches to clear any residual water. Everything else gravity drains.
