  1. WindAlert helps with wind direction and speed.
  2. Bought new planer reels in 2016 which came with 150-200 lb mono on them. It was OK for a couple of months then nothing wanted to slide on it easily. Changed it out with a 300 ft spool of 150 lb Power Pro last year and could not be happier. I run double keeled Otters with Clipper releases in spring and Scottys later on
  3. Lots of open water that part of I-Bay right now. I had no luck walking some shoreline. Good luck with the paddle search
  4. Would it be over by Southpoint Marina or farther north? I walk the trails on the east side sometimes
  5. Damn. Forgot all about this seminar. Started 30 min ago. Should start writing more things down on calender
  6. The single keels will be fine for pulling those mag lips or any stickbaits. The double keels help when you put out long coppers later in the year.
  7. Agreed. Like finsntins, my Convectors and Catalinas had 6-7 years on em and needed some PM
  8. Just got an order of 4 from Yakima. Can't wait to get em wet
  9. Yup. Tuna uses a flat rate of $5.99 for return shipping. There is a form to fill out on their website
  10. FYI it's $9 for the Dragmaster drags and around $15 for the labor. You get the old parts back in a baggie. Great value IMO. I also ordered several extra clicker springs for my Catalina wire reels. $2.
  11. We've seen a few floaters in I-Bay during the heavy stocking years, '14 & '15, but have never caught one
  12. Now thats funny, gross but funny
  13. I just read somewhere Oldsquaw numbers on the Great Lakes have been increasing cause they're chowing on zebra mussels. Can't help the taste.
  14. Outstanding!!!! Congrats and Happy Holidays
  15. As soon as my wife gets home you got a like. I no do Facebook
  16. Thanks for the report. We fished out of Oregon Outlet this past August on the "Fishing Frenzy" boat and caught Blue Marlin, White Marlin, a Sailfish and a bonus 45lb. Wahoo. Can't wait for next August. Charters are a little $$ but they motor far offshore and work hard to find fish.
