    Not much of a report. Fished for brownies again from outlet east. Nice color water with not a lot of junk floating in 20-25 ft range. Small dipsey on 3 setting took a brown and 2 skippy kings on an old yeck froggie. Kept going east and doubled up in front of Webster Park. 7-8 lb brown on glow frog and lost the other on metallic frog, both off rigger. Another 6 lber. off Hedges and a few more all on SS glow frog off rigger. Lost good water mile east of Hedges. Very quiet after that. 61 surface temp all way to bottom out to 40 ft. Out again later this week. Kevin

    My old Fenwick Rigger sticks eyelets don't like the uni to uni knot. Too bulky. Blood knot is slightly smaller and just as strong IMO.

    You must have been the Whaler, cause we didn't see much else except the fog. Sorry about all the funky turns, but we doubled up twice with only 2 aboard.

    Decided to try for some browns. Hasn't been very good for us this year. Big time fog and muddy/debris filled water out front. Headed east got a double,brown & steelie in 20ft. Next one was a good one. 12lb+. Got a few more same depth. Went another 1/2 mile and lost good water. Retraced our route past Shipbuilders and NADA. Fished to Hedges caught 2 more kids. Water too clear in 20 ft and loaded with cotton/junk inside that the whole way. Finished with 6 browns, a 5lb steelie and a skipper king. The brown was 11.4lbs weighed at Mitchells at 2PM.     If anybody is looking for Familiar Bite Herring strips, S&R Bait & Tackle in Sea Breeze just got some in. He's also got a nice selection of Okuma reels. I picked up a CV 30D for $75.00. I need to go back with more $ for some Blood Run copper. Ouch!

    Just passing on info like my old Friend Capt John McCabe did for me way back when. John was a good man and a better fisherman. Wasn't he "Desparado" Matt? Kevin

    We saw both you guys out there except we were a little deeper. Not really paying attention to depth as much as surface temp. Fished out to 43-44 deg and turned back to 49-50. Kept making same pass. Went 12 fer 17 all steelies. DW Steelie Dan along with SS double orange crush as a cheater down 23 was good. My buddy fished an old blk/silver NK with a addon orange stripe down 17 that took 4 fish. J9 & J11 orange rapalas took a double on board. Lots of acrobatics and lots of fun. Sorry no pics. Gotta get better at that.

    Yea Kevin they are more consistent in their depth on a troll. Make a turn well it's sinking nicely. I wanted to hear other people's results on copper. The 200 is a 10 core out, just 100ft less and then some with a much better hook up. Gotcha Bruce. I'll have to see if I can piece some copper together to make a shorty up. I know I've got some twisted up sections somewhere. LOL

    Lead core more quickly reacts to current and speed changes Ok thanks Rob.

    Hmmm! Good info on the depths of the short coppers. Even though 4,5,6 color leadcore runs similar depths, it doesn't stay there consistently cause of length of leads. Have i got that right?

    Inattentive boats on Autopilot with boards waaaay out are a bad combination for sure.

    IMO if you're running in traffic, 75ft on each planer cuts you a pretty good patch of water. Just fished the WHI and some boats had twice that out in traffic. Discourteous and rude!!
