  1. http://www.uscg.mil/d9/cgcMackinaw/history.asp It's the only Coast Guard icebreaker on the Great Lakes. Doesn't say what they're doing here. Info on the Captain says he's from Rochester. Family reunion?
  2. USCGC Mackinaw anchored off I-Bay today. Crew of 60. Saw small boat heading into shore for a burger run. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. South end of I-Bay to Sandy Creek. That's a nice run. Sounds like it was worth it though. Good day to do it. Lake could not have been flatter. Thanks for the report
  4. Bruce, I agree it would be nice to see some footballs. Especially with all the Caledonia browns that they have stocked along this shoreline. I think the cormorants are doing a job on them along with other predators. BTW. That hat is an AARP special edition. You will be receiving info on how to buy one from them very shortly.
  5. Double D strikes again. That auto pilot gonna be sweet.
  6. Kind of a weird day for us doin the browns. Went 4 fer 5 but got a 13 and 2 12 lbers. With a 8 lber dink to boot. Lost another big boy off board. Fished next to Hooked-Up Charters who was doing better than us. Goby SS and mulatto SS took fish. All inside 30 ft trying to avoid debris and dirtiest water. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Thanks for the report. That depth seems to be where it's happening
  8. Good report Hans thanks. Looks like things are looking up around here. Kevin
  9. I believe it's Lake Timber Tackle. 1000 Turk Hill Park. Fairport NY. You'll have to forgive Brucehookedup. He's got retirement on his mind.
  10. Thanks Bruce. Thanks Woody. I was kinda hoping it wasn't going to be that easy to buy more spoons. LOL
  11. The "ole" YECK frog. I'll never get rid of those puppies for the brownies. silverfoxcharters.net Wish I had a few more of those. Gotta look around on internet.
  12. The voltage could be reduced with a resistor package. So now you'd have a wired remote. Not sure why you'd want to do this?
  13. Not much of a report. Fished for brownies again from outlet east. Nice color water with not a lot of junk floating in 20-25 ft range. Small dipsey on 3 setting took a brown and 2 skippy kings on an old yeck froggie. Kept going east and doubled up in front of Webster Park. 7-8 lb brown on glow frog and lost the other on metallic frog, both off rigger. Another 6 lber. off Hedges and a few more all on SS glow frog off rigger. Lost good water mile east of Hedges. Very quiet after that. 61 surface temp all way to bottom out to 40 ft. Out again later this week. Kevin
  14. Thanks to all for the reports. Gonna hit it hard Mon AM. Hopefully we'll have something to post tomorrow
  15. Good report, thanks. Looked like a great evening to be on the water.
  16. My old Fenwick Rigger sticks eyelets don't like the uni to uni knot. Too bulky. Blood knot is slightly smaller and just as strong IMO.
  17. You must have been the Whaler, cause we didn't see much else except the fog. Sorry about all the funky turns, but we doubled up twice with only 2 aboard.
  18. It won't be long now Bruce. Just try to stay focused .
