  5. I have a couple of the real cheap grey colored depthmaster reels. I'm waiting for mine to break.. so i can replace them. They are a $30 reel. The drags are garbage. Spend $70 and get a convector! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  6. Firetiger and silver/black stripes/orange belly rattling rogues. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  7. We did a thread on best spoons for 2012. And i'm just a successful rookie going into my 3rd year. It all depends on the time of year, water clarity, light, year, luck (lol)... I recommend: -Fuller SSW -Fuller KOS -Stinger NBK -DW 42nd -Stinger Green hornet -Stinger Glow Alewive [ Post made via iPhone ]
  8. I just drooled like a St. Bernard! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  9. Yup!!! Hope it's the same for 2013. Gotta love kings on stick baits off the planer board line!!! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  10. No need for snubbers. Keep the drag a little loose and use mono for a leader. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  11. Theirs also a guy selling 12.5 lbs torpedos for $25/each. They're awesome for the price! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  12. Been a tough bite this fall on the south shore. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  13. They're awesome reels. I have 2...1 for a 300 copper and 1 for a rigger rod. Hopefully I can afford to switch all mine over in the future. You can really gain on a fish when he charges the boat! Makes copper a lot easier to deal with. Wish they made a couple bigger sizes. I have a Tekota for a 500 copper and I'm not that impressed. 14. I'd run 2 dipseys and 2 coppers off big boards. Leave the chute open. Or better yet get 2 riggers. Their's days you won't want the hassle of the coppers/boards. And days the dipseys just won't dig down to where they should. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  15. Sounds like a recipe for disaster! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  16. Sweet vid!! [ Post made via iPhone ]
  17. Yup...that's the way you want to do it! The daiwa sealine reels are great for wire or mono. Not too expensive either. I like a 8 ft 3 in ugly stik for rigger rods and the 10 footer for wire. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  18. I have 2 that were new in 2011. Only been used maybe 20 times. How much do you want to pay? [ Post made via iPhone ]
  19. That's the rattle. You can take it off and see it doesn't hold the single hook in place. You can buy them off atommiks website if you want them. Or echips. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  20. I took most of my springers on a dipsey back 80 ft on a 3 setting with a reverse nbk spinnie and atommik green glow. Did get a couple on sticks off the palaver board line. That was cool to see them jump like steelies!! [ Post made via iPhone ]
