I don't know anything about the coldwaters. but have used daiwa sealine daiwa accudepth plus and convectors. the daiwa sealine is the best of the 3. but its kind of a toss up on the accudepth plus and the convectors. I used a set of accudepth plus for yrs and never had any problems. I only used the convectors for fishing our local lake. i've had them for a few yrs but they have been good reels. if money wasnt a big problem i'd get shimano tekota's. but if im on a tighter budget i'd get daiwa sealine sg lc3b reels. if thats still to much i'd p;robably go with convectors then accudepth plus lc3b reels. this is based on my opinion only.

I would take that deer anytime it gave me a shot. thats a nice buck to have this early in the season. its kida like the old saying, don't leave fish to find fish. in other words don't pass on a nice buck unless you know bigger bucks are in your area. I got a little 10 pointer on the 2nd day of hunting back 37 yrs ago. I hunt public land and any deer is a good deer. i've taken a few other bucks but nothing better than that 1st little 10 I got. just be thankful your not having license stew this yr.

yep that is electric trolling motors that attaches to the cavitation plate. I got transom mounted motors that came with the trim tabs. but they eat up the batteries so I removed the motors and just use the stand alone trim tabs. if I was buying a new trolling motor now I would get a bow mount 36v with auto pilot for steering and trolling.

you probably don't need a new motor. do the things I suggested first. if that doesn't work hook the boat up and take it to another marina even if you have to tow it to a bigger town. I have a 115 hp old merc 6 cylinder. I let it set foe 2 1/2 yrs. when I did take it out it didnt want to run at idle. I took it to the marina and they rebuilt the carbs. they charger over 400.00. took it back out and when I put it in gear it died. it wasnt fixed. took it back and they worked on the carbs again. charged me 268.00 and said it was fixed. took it back out and it did the same thing. took it back and it costed me over 1000.00 that time and they said it was fixed again. took it to fl to do some saltwater fishing. it ran ok for about 10 minutes then started dying on me. this time its worse than it was to start with. im not going to that marina again so they can rip me off again. next spring i'll take it to a different marina and see if they can fix it. I invested over 1700.00 in a 1200.00 or 1400.00 motor and it is worse than it was before I even took it to the shop.

they are talking the standard snap on ring. you can get away from the rings by going to the dreamweaver deeper divers. fishusa.com has them. if you want to use rings go with the lite bite slide diver. i've used them for a few yrs now and never had a ring come loose. you can use the slide part of the diver to get longer leads behind the diver. or you can use them like I do. I tie to the front arm then tie a 12" piece of heavy line to a small split ring then lace it through the bach going through the back and in the lite bite arm. then use the line to tie a swivel then hook on your snubber. then just use a 6' or 7' fluro leader with swivels at both ends. attach one end to the snubber and the other end to the lure. be sure and set the tension on the lite bite as loose as it will go and still stay in when you close the front arm. set the front tension tight enough that your not getting false releases.

the first thing I would check is the gas filter then the gas line. the old line with the gas we get now has a tendency for the inner liner to separate causing all kinds of problems. next I would rebuild the fuel pump. these are all cheap fixes that can cause fuel flow problems. then the jets in the card could be stopped up. then you'll need to clean the carb. my brother and brother n law went partners on a 65 hp evenrude and a boat. the motor had set for some time. we went to dale hollow and the motor started right up and ran good at slow speed. but give it throttle and it died. I tore the carb down and the high speed jets was fully clogged. I took a piece of small wire and cleaned the jets out and it ran great.

Go to copper or braid
sherman brown replied to back on eerie 2016's topic in Finger Lakes Discussion
i use braid with a mono backing for fishing walleye on erie's central basin. braid doesn't stretch which makes tripping my divers from the boat much easier. I use the lite bite slide diver. I can get down 50' to 60' with no problem. -
where I hunt its about 150 yrds from the road. I killed a deer there 10 yrs in a row.. but have went dry the last 3 yrs. they had a big kill off 3 yrs ago and I've only hunted a few days each yr during our ml season. last yr my son hinted about 75 yrds from the road across the rd from where I hunt. ha saw several deer and got a nice doe. it you find a good spot close to the rd it will pay off big.

is there any ocean front property that goes with that bridge? whet state is it in?
-
if your going to run divers I suggest getting the lite bite slide diver. I use mine like a dipsy without using the slide part. just tie to the front then tie your leader to a small split ring and lace it through the back going through the lite bite arm. but they make a kit that weighs 7 oz's and a big ring and they will get deep in a hurry.
