I fish out of Sandy Pond.  Usually from the north dunes to the Salmon River in 120+ ft of

Water. Had one good day in the last week, Saturday.  The fish have since disappeared and it has been slow.

Fished the afternoon shift out of Oswego yesterday. Thermocline was about 75-80 ft down. Started in about 90-125 FOW and had blank screens, so I trolled out to 250-350 and eventually found a pocket of bait at about 300 FOW. Hit that a few times and went 5/8 with a couple of hit and runs and off the water by 7pm. The RV Crabface was the primary spoon - both mag and regular, but I took a ~10lb king on fake meat and one decent steelhead on a michigan stinger blue dolphin. Biggest fish was about 17lb and was starting to get darker.

Fished Mexico on Tuesday afternoon by the plant . Trolled from 180 fow to 280 and back. Temp was 80 ft down . I lost one fish on rigger with spoon. But only marked about 12 fish in 5 hours . Fishing was slow.

Fished 8-7 yesterday and went 2 for 4. Got two 12lb kings. One on flasher fly and one on flasher/fake meat. 300 copper has been the winner for me this year. Best investment I have made yet. Best water temps were inside 120-150 down 70-90. Tried deeper (200-350) and found water temps higher and had to run deeper and did not mark as much. Both fish were a little darker and loaded with eggs. Lots of boats out. I am sure others did better than I. Just happy to not get skunked. Lol. Tight lines.....
