Thinking about perchin friday with the boy off sunset

Was thinking about taking the boat out on Friday. Boy is off from school. Think it worth a shot going off sunset. Wondering if a perch bite is still going on.

fished sturgen pt today got 90 jumbos rite in front in 53 fow. with emerals also was told guys are getting them off pt breeze in 50 fow. . can still launch at stur. pt. 2 docks still in , no docks at sunset state launch. good luck.

Do the perch come into Oak Orchard river like they do at Irondequoit Bay or do you have to go out into the lake? I would like to try Oak Orchard river.

Not an expert on the perch at the Oak, but I was there Monday and there was a

guy that I know fishing perch, and he had a few nice ones.

Haha, thanks guys. We are all set. Too tomorrow off and ready to roll. Will let you know how we do.

Nice day. Too windy. Anchor wouldnt hold and 2 drifts socks didnt matter much. Miller still has lots of shiners. And hanover launch open with 3 docks. Pretty lumpy. Still the boys enjoyed the day out. Plenty of perch in 59 to 61 straight out of harbor. I got gps coordinates if any brave souls wanna venture out.

Went out saturday only got 40 nice ones, mixed bag many smaller ones, the lake was flat until late pm.
