Launched outa Mexico point launch both days got on water for 9am Saturday and fished west to in front of the twin stacks in Oswego. Nothing but skippers til we got out in front of oz, fished 30-60. Made a turn out deeper and soon as we hit 90fow caught a giant brown on a 50 foot rigger with a stingray spoon, brown was 13 pounds. Stayed on a 90 foot line and proceeded to take another giant on a 300 copper with stingray as well. Hung around in that water til the lake blew up but it was a steady pick of kings and browns in there the whole time. Sunday got a late start but fished 30-50 fow til we got past the plant. Really slow one brown on a 5 color in 40 fow. Headed out deeper on the way back and got one nice king in 120 fow. Soon as we were picking up saw the abs mother load of marks in 90 fow in Mexico bay but didn’t fish them bc we were pretty much reeled up.57 on top 52 down 50 foot or so.

Look at the food we eat. Full of stuff they won't allow on the shelves of other countries . Manufacturer have researched and engineered the crunch of snack crackers , etc so your taste buds send a signal to the receptors in your brain so you will eat 10 chips instead of 5 . And the stuff I can't pronounce to stimulate my appetite . Why is smoking still legal ? Back in the sixties we were even told , by Drs mind you , it wasn't harmful . All for profit . So how can you trust it ? Both sides rob us blind . Look at the tax dollars stolen in Minnesota, Maine , California ,etc . Sure would pay for an awfull lot . At my age , I've seen a lot . And realize there ain't a damn thing I can do to stop it . So I row my little boat , catch fish on my 50 ¢ garage sale lure or the one I pulled out of a tree , sip my 10$ quart of Philadelphia whisky ,and trudge on living my best life . 100% agree with Gator. It's funny how people who hate and mistrust science have no problem using the technology that science brings us. Take a moment and think about either yourself or someone you love who is alive today because of medical science. Is science perfect? No, because scientists are people and they aren't perfect. They have biases just like all of us. However, the principles of science recognize this and that's why studies need to be peer reviewed by other scientists.

I'm sure that the oceans and tornados ,etc are being studied . Maybe by some agency that's better . Got the marine forecast this morning right off the app on my phone . Gator , we were told repeatedly and daily by many climate experts , meteorologists , politicians , that Florida would be underwater with rising sea levels and the planet would be in turmoil if we didn't adopt the green new deal . Trust the science , we were told that daily during COVID. So please excuse my scepticism .

Trust to me is reserved for neighbors, family and friends-the folks who can earn it. Forgiveness the same. The scientific community, political apparatus, corporate power structures demand to be trusted, but they’re actually asking for your faith. The infinite resource printed out of thin air, backed by nothing but violence melds these institutions into a machine. There’s a control group, the Amish, who mostly didn’t accept stimmy check bribes, who don’t reference NOAA or much of anything else or place their faith in man. They are one of, if not the only subset of the white population actually growing their numbers. What other metric actually means more than that? I don’t know how any Trump supporter, Newsom supporter, or institution believer has enough forgiveness in their heart to still be playing the red v blue stuff or have any sort of trust left in any faceless man-made structure at this point.
