Im trying to list my boat is there now a $89 dollar charge to list a boat? I listed a few on here over many years never received any charge notice.

Couldn't complete the downloads of videos on sciencebase. "Big files" is an understatement. Did watch the U-tubes. Very interesting. I hope it's successful. Am wondering about Gobys. I haven't seen any recent data on Goby populations. I did see that USFWS put out an article a while back that they love LT eggs and are a detriment to successful recruitment of LTs. i.e. that they trapped a couple thousand on a spawning reef. I understand that LTs won't protect nests like Smallmouths do. (maybe I'm wrong there) Are there any plans to trap them at cleaned sites?

I remember well the Sandy radio conversations. They were a lot of fun.

I guess i just mean nobody talks freely on the marine radio anymore. I should start asking for local guys cell phone numbers....LOL I don't run charters or fish turneys anymore. I use to love fishing the sandy shoot out when I knew everybody. Just chillin on the water

Unless it’s during a tournament I will always share intel. I always have. There are some that are tight lipped but many others do as well. Just ask.

Back in the day everybody used to share info on channel 72. That was my share and source while I was on the water. Nobody shares info anymore, sometimes hitting the water blind if you haven't been out in awhile. There are enough fish for everybody, share some info and help the rec guys have a good day. Anyways, my report from 6/13 outta Sandy. Started fishing about 7am in 150 fow. 4 riggers 2 dipseys. Had 51 down 65-70. Marked a few fish but no takers. Started searching out to 250, with the temp slowly rising in the water column. Around 8:30 started popping fish. Found a small scum line in 200 fow between the pump house and area 1. Worked that in and out till 11am. Best depth for us was 45-60 and had 52-55 temp water. Went 6 for 7 on the morning, nothing big, couple teenagers, couple skips. had a buddy and his daughter with me, she has never been on the lake. Let her handle all the fish. had a great time, Memories for her and dad. The one that we dropped, well that had the pole bent flat and was screaming drag before we could get to it. Spit the hook shortly after she started the fight. But she was grinning ear to ear. See ya on the water.

Yesterday was great for us but fish are scattered. We spent time from 30-400. Ten fish box by 9:30 and upgraded from there. Our mid 22’s king got bumped by a mid 23’s laker. Some boats struggled but a lot of fish were caught. Today was tougher for us. 8 fish box, lost a good king late. Other boats crushed it. Top boats 10 fish box was over 150lbs. June is funky but the fish are there. Try different things, move if you are in dead water, spread your stuff out till you find them. When you do pay attention to where and circle back.

Fishing won't be good till lake stratifies

Wasn’t going to report my lack of fish report but read on another post some people find it helpful. 6/9 fished 70-160 in front of river 7am -11am. Marked bait and fish but never moved a rod. Tried everything in a 9 rod spread. Figured they were not biting cause the storm front moving in. Angler survey boat said other boats said it was tough also. 6/14 Took a firefighter buddy out and figured we had till 11ish before the rain came. I was wrong. Launched at river again but this time at 5:30am. Headed to Braddocks and set up in 70 and deepest was 120. Marked most fish and bait in 100 fow. Had one hit a dispey but gone before rod was out of holder. Had one small king on deep rigger. Looked dark to the west and saw lightening off Braddocks so we pulled lines at 8:30 and headed to the dock. Rained little bit but not what I thought was coming. Only 1 other boat out near me. Maybe it’s slow in Rochester or I am having bad luck. Had a good spring but struggling this week. This is why I go bass fishing also, lol. Hopefully this might help someone. Good luck everyone! Rick

I'm really curious how they clean up the weeds off the rocks in the creeks. Maybe a high power water blaster?? I'd love to see them dump truckloads of small gravel off the old Russel Station in about 60-70 FOW, but that's a real pipe dream. The east side of the Genny is all mud & silt from river runoff and the dredge dumping ground. There aren't many underwater pics of the bottom that I can find. If anyone has some, please post.

From a guy who drives an hour each way the reports are greatly appreciated. It’s my first year truly fishing the full salmon season as I got into it late last summer. I’m constantly on here trying to put it all together and learn. I live 10 mins from Erie and anytime the weather allows I’m going north to chase kings, the walleye just don’t compare. It’s nice being able to hop on here and see if not only it’s worth making the drive but try to cut some time in the am and have an idea what fow to start in. Tight lines fellas
