  1. Past hour
  2. Before we get there, now is a good time to plan what to do with one before we bag it. Still haven’t shot one yet but the flock showing up in my field every day is getting my hopes up. They always seem to disappear on opening day but just in case, what are your favorite ways to prepare wild turkey?

  6. Thanks for digging that up. The only info I have on my stock prop is "P 8.5" stamped on the back of one of the blades. The blades are cheap enough to experiment with. I spend more than that on vehicle and boat fuel for one trip. I appreciate your help AA. Not trying to steal your thread cnyh2ofowler. Someone may chime in on this and answer your question.
  7. I agree..... The thing the little guys have going for them is the dirty water of the Genny...should help a little. Wish the feds would open a season on those nasty birds.
  8. Fifteen used Fuzzy Bear standard size spoons. Some of these have never seen water and some have small chips from use (see the pictures). Excellent condition. $50 (includes shipping in the contiguous US)
  9. Two used Shimano Tekota 600 LC's. Both function as they should. They have been oiled/greased and stored with the drags off for four years (I have just move the parts twice a year and kept them in storage as backups). $190 EACH (includes shipping in the contiguous US) #1 #2
  10. Like new, triples. Great for pulling coppers. ***BEST OFFER*** Open to trades. Pick up in Oswego, Mexico or Pulaski.
  11. Pushes my driftboat perfect at idle and was approx same size prop and pitch that was on my T9.9 high thrust that I had on a 21’ fishmaster. Plenty of clearance between prop and anticavitation plate.
  12. I lied - not a 12 pitch. Can’t remember what the OEM prop was but it was smaller with significantly more pitch. Here’s what fit my 2023 merc 9.9 4-stroke. (Not a Bigfoot motor)
  13. I have two cheap lithium batteries and one charges "weird" sometimes. It charges faster than it should every once in awhile. Really not sure if it is the charger or battery. If I unplug it for an hour and plug it back in it charges normally. This caused significantly lower run time until i figured it out. When I was troubleshooting the issue, I picked up two cheap LCD voltage displays from amazon so I could see the voltage when charging and using them. They use hardly any power. May be worth picking some up so you can monitor voltage on the water. Like it was mentioned above, if one battery has more capacity then the other, the lower one will die real quick.
  14. Boat horns would be quite effective also, thanks
  15. Hopefully, a couple of volunteers with boats would be in the river at time of release for at least a couple of hours and keep the multitude of cormorants from landing on the water, might even be a fun time, one is allowed to harass them, please--please !!!!!
  16. The Genesee River Pen project is Scheduled to Release the Salmon at 3:00 pm on Wednesday May 1. North docks of Shumway Marina. We can use all the help we can get....
  17. People are getting insane crazy There is no discipline in school anymore . When these kids get out they don't know right from wrong and moreover never had to deal with the consequences of their actions . Now there is no bail .This should come as no Surprise to anyone . Look at TV any day .
  18. I think there’s some people out there that don’t like the hatchery fish and feel that they are bad for the system. They think natives are superior and want stocking to stop. I wonder if that’s was his reason.
  19. You need to check each battery independently to see if it is good. I have a 24v system and bought group 29 size agms figuring they were better. After one year one of the battery's went bad. When one is bad it will draw the charge from the good battery and they will both drain faster than normal.
  20. I suggest keeping him in a locked room with all the dead fish and keep the room at 75 degrees for about 3 weeks. He'll never get anywhere near fish again. Was he trying to protect the fish from getting covid? But seriously, what could possibly be his reason for doing this?
  21. WTF is wrong with people...... Hang him in the town square and let the fishermen beat him with a baseball bat!
