  5. No big fish Wes, We had a twenty pound average a day or two prior to Wilson tourney for our six fish, the bigh fish had moved out deep on tourney day. Talked to some guys who were catching them out 360 and down 150. Sean
  6. Let me know what you come up with Nick
  7. Will be back posting soon, just got back from the big lake. It was like fishing in a bucket over 100 kings in 4 half days of fishing Jason has the numbers in the log book. Fish on Seneca were North last time I went out of South end so I will have to hunt them down. The boat goes in Wednesday so we will be back at it, and Jason's boat is being delivered Thursday morning .
  8. Thats why the lead test was so high
  9. The Rep is lost We run them every day and have the same problems. That is why I have switched over to mostly DW spoons. I still have my core group of stingers I run but they dont last long. I have put down some and at the end of the day they are one color silver . I ran two new NK spoons last week that did the same thing. Some colors hold up better than others. The problem with the NK was the tape job not the paint. I have R@R spoons, Moonshine, DW, and Silver Streak that have been in the water for days and hold up great. I like stinger spoons but the paint sucks. Sean
  10. Great Report We took some fish on your fly on Seneca the other day. I will let you know how it works on Lake O this week. Sean
  11. I burned up 8 tires the first year with my boat trailer. I went to Carlisle Radial Trail tires ST 225/75R15 have put thousands of miles on them the last two and a half years and they still look new. Sean
  12. Hi Rick, When should we be able to get our slip info? I am going to bring the boat up the Wed prior. Thanks Sean
  13. Channel 68 for the fishing chat. A wire dipsey rig would help you out big time. The big browns and salmon are deep now with most of the bait. We have been catching Browns and Salmon down 100 to 130 every trip. Flashers/Flies and spoons that will work that deep are the way to go. We have found 12 to 18 inch salmon and bows up top but the big guys have been deep. If the bait is down 120 to 250 they will go get it. We put together a good program for fishing the marks at 100 to 150 and most of them have been Salmon and Browns. And all of those fish have been in the 6 to 12lb range. The water needs to hit that 50 deg mark before all the bait comes up to spawn. Like Ray, we have also found some bait on top with the side sonar, but its not up for long. When you do find it pound it with some 4 or 5 color core or short copper and you will get some big browns or salmon out of it. Sean
  14. we will be out Nick how about a little tourney action
  15. Caught one about 8lbs on Owasco that had over 12 plastics in it 5 of them had hooks. Most were bass worms guys had chucked in after they were worn out. The ones with hooks were jigs.
  16. What that is it! One day or two day deal? Look forward to the details Scott
  17. Keuka if you don't want to catch any none in Canandaigua, Owasco got a few that were left over from the hatchery I caught one on Owasco years ago.
  18. you can look at them thats it walleye is not open yet.
  19. Seneca, and Cayuga
  20. Dump the mono diver with 160 to 190ft of mono out thats like having a 100ft snubber. The hook up rate sucks with mono and divers. I would rig up a wire line rig and run that with your braided diver rig. The braid will get covered with fleas when they start next month. We dont run snubbers with our divers some guys do but I don't like using them. Sean
  21. if you have power to the display unit, on the display you will see a small dot/period where your speed and temp will be displayed if you dont get that your unit has no power ( doesn't need to be in water to see this). If you do see that then the problem is power to the probe, or connection from the probe. change probe batt, check antena, put in bucket of water. If you dont get temp displayed then take cable off and make sure your cabel is cleaned off 8ft at end and in contact with rigger. That is if you have cannons with the short stop.
  22. Did you get out Nick? I see the North wind is cranking today
  23. You dont pay at the South end. You must be going to run boards off a mast in that case run flatlines put them 150 back. Put line in your release then you slide that down your board line. Then the next flat line would be out 150 do same thing for all of them. That way when outside rig goes off you just let your inside board line out, and it becomes your outside line. If you start running diff riggs and lengths off the same side you get into trouble. You can do it but I wouldn't your first time. If you run inline boards you can run what you want.
