    Coho will be in the top 40 of the water column. Fast troll, 3 mph ish. Like red, orange, chartreuse. Small spinny with fly behind or standard size spoons will pull fish. cold clear water sucks. Sometimes warmer water is in tighter. Other times it’s offshore. Find better temps, usually pull better fish.

    Double digit coho today and a dink king. Be out tomorrow as well.

    Ran with friends today from Bald Eagle to Olcott. Never seen so many floating hazards. Logs, trees, many partially submerged. Must be the recent rain but keep your eyes open.

    Bottom line we were blessed then and still blessed today. I’ve been doing it for over 35 years as well. Was and still is an incredible fishery and I look forward to every trip. Solo shakedown cruise today out of my new, old home. No rods, just ran out to the lake and put the boat up on plane for a minute and cruised back. Always glad to get that first run out of the way. Looking forward to the year. Good luck to all.
