  1. Would that be the same for rough seas though? I could see that if the lake were flat but if it was rolling I wouldn’t think the two would compare for getting back in. Just me though. Having something is better than nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. That would be cool then. It looks like the elite ti series 9 and larger has the smart steer program like the HDS models do. I don’t why it took me so long to get an AP. Absolutely love it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. So I’m not entirely sure if lowrance has changed this or not but I’m thinking unless you have an HDS model you won’t be able to control your AP through the unit. The elites and hooks only have nema 2000 that will show data only but will not drive the route if you know what I mean. Maybe someone else can chime in or like you said contact lowrance for an update. Make sure you get a tech. The sales guy will tell you “sure it will”. 5. I run a 115 with a 8 kicker with a tee off the main to both, they also have individual bulbs to the motors. Some said you need to have valves on each line, others have said your over thinking it. So I went without the valves. I have had no issues. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  11. Ejb, let me know if you need any info. I have a 93, did the floor project with foam, flooring etc. I left the console floor to the bow untouched. There’s two separate sheets of metal, one on each side of the cover for the gas tank. I had them remade at a local metal shop eliminating the back seat holes. This is where the water got into the foam. It’s not a big project. The passenger / drivers seat had wood under the floor they were screwed to so that needed to be replaced. If you have a leak you can set the boat in the water with the floor up and foam removed to be sure you found it. If you haven’t replaced your transom yet I’d take a look there as well. 12. After a buddy telling me the story of losing his favorite rig in the belhurst hole and being able to catch it the very next day and to see his smile when I gave it to him was somewhat cool. Not a fish but it was crazy like odds. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. The good ole Oakie Dokie, has put some nice derby fish in the boat in years past. I still have the ones Jason your Dad gave me back in the day. X2 with Les’s comment Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. They were at Sodus. Heck I’d bet you had that in the channel from the rollers leading out to the lake..... Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  15. Closed cell definitely. 2 part foam from Jamestown dist I think I used 2lb for a floor project I did. Many companies out there to find the best price. Don’t let it get on anything. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  18. Is this style boat a ski boat type? Just wondering if your plagued with this problem because of it. Not to say you can’t help the issue with the suggestions.... also does it have hydraulic steering on it? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  21. I’m with Sk8man on the 15hp. If your on the finger-lakes I could see going with the 9.9 but up on the big pond I’d go bigger if you can afford it or have a line on a good deal. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  22. Yes... My old Cannons that had the older style swivel head created a kink every time I was done fishing and tightened up the slack when I was done fishing. I would pull the rope on the pulley tight and the cable would be bent on the back side of the swivel. The new wheels don’t create this. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  24. So if I understand this correctly, after re reading this post, the season dates are locked for the next 5 years? Who does that? Who limits the ability for change for something as important as a season dates for wildlife management programs to not fluctuate with potential changes either in harvest, breeding, wetland issues etc. For what it’s worth, I would keep it on the low low that feedback to the dates is useless for the next 5 years. Sure is one way to reduce participation. Maybe that’s the agenda? Hopefully it’s just a big misunderstanding on my part and it’s revisited annually and someone else is misinformed?
