  1. Someone might want to check the general regulations under general take and possession section. Just to make sure. It might be a little misleading but states you may not possess in excess of the daily limit for a species. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  3. Well, being in that area I’d expect if he fishes with it there will be a lot of LOU eyes during the lake trout derby if we’re ever so lucky. Wouldn’t want to be that guy at the dock if the LOU gang were to find him for ya. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Real nice video! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  5. Jth, I’m not really trying to talk you out of something you don’t need but for whatever it is worth, most units have it for a mere penny more. Use full screen sonar and never use it if you don’t want it. Some need nav maps some are installed already. My point is if you ever needed it like in fog or severe need you have it. I’m just thinking your going to spend more time trying to find a unit without gps that you like vs finding a unit that you like and just don’t use the gps. Just an opinion. 6. I’m not sure how long ago I heard this and whether it’s even true, it wasn’t from a rep, but I was told that transducers have a shelf life of performance over a few years. Not sure how true but have seen a difference when going from old to new. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Todd not sure where he wants his career to go whether in the manufacturing sector or within fisheries or wildlife. Many private large company’s are more and more looking for green talent to grow and develop. They have environmental practices for both air and water. Alcoa or someone like that. On the state sector DEC might have programs that he could tie into for hatchery work etc. like Altmar. Might be working on runways and stuff as summer is down time for them but it’s something. There’s also many consulting firms that perform testing and manage haz cleanup sites that might have internships as well. Hope it helps Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  18. On mine it says to shut motors off before switching to off. Perco. Didn’t do that years ago when I was having battery issues. Rpm gauge stopped working found out it was a result of damage to the CDI unit. I learned. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  20. I’m hoping that it’s just the fact that we are a month behind weather wise. Flocks are still bunched up in a winter pattern and have not hit the spring yet. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  21. Depending on what dealer you go with, they’ll know the model to target based on your gross weight of the boat and gear. If your trading the trailer in they will match up the bunks the day you do the swap. Might take a couple of attempts but they usually get it close. Just keep your eyes on transducers etc with bunks if the tongue / winch is up a little farther on the new trailer. You don’t want to break anything off. You’ll feel a lot better with a newer trailer and will look back at it as not a big deal getting it set up. Good luck with it. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  22. X2. Have been using 5200 for years on transducer screws and other transom type work. Just a little dab will do you and it screw out if you need to. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
