    I agree. In the 4 years I have been fishing lake o I have never caught a fish on my Mono dipsey. Plenty on wire.. So now I have two wire dipsies

    I hear yeah. I have fished many waters but Lake O is at the top of the list. Will be there August 2-4 and I can't wait!

    Do you know if the Port Authority Marina has slips available for short term rental?

    Does anyone know if this hotel has dock slips available to rent for a weekend? There seems to be slips adjacent to the hotel. Looking for a place to stay and fish first weekend of August. Have a call into Wrights landing to see if there is a slip available to leave boat in as well. Thanks

    Thanks guys. Had the gimble bearing and bellows replaced this year. I will try the water in the bilge trick while on the trailer

    Have a 1990 Starcraft 221v. Has always taken on water and cannot find where. Just had the bellows replaced, no change. I know it's an aluminum riveted boat but just doesn't seem like it would leak as bad as it does. Have inspected the hull, all seems fine. Intake to the live well seems to be ok. Have not taken that apart though. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

    i started fishing lake O 4 years ago. i only make two trips a year of three days each. the first three years i caught one salmon. last year i bought a fish hawk x4d. i made one three day trip and boated 6 salmon and a steelhead and a brown. it makes a difference and i think more valuable for those of us who do not get out there much.
