Your first salmon being a 17lb. chinook (king)..... Nnniiiiiiicee! Complete with fresh lamprey scar...Don't lose, however, appreciation for pike and sheephead (?!!) and largemouth bass and....well, they are all good! Tough to beat those blistering runs with the kings. Tough, too, to beat that endless energy of bustin' smallies on light tackle. Tough to beat that big fish fry of tasty perch, sunnies, and crappies...or walleye...(bluefish is a fav). Hell...fishin' is just fun....especially when successful catching is at hand. Good deal on the king. :yes:

I pride myself on being able to catch multiple species from many different bodies of water. Being stuck on one type of fish all the type is boring! Either way it was really fun and I appreciate how much people help each other out on this website! I'm with out a boat for a few weeks and I had many offers to go fishing with people! You guys are all cool in my book!

regardless of your fish decent salmon coming at 10yrs old, 20...30....or 60yrs old.......... there is nothing like watching that joy and excitement in someones eyes the first time that fish tears line and when something that large hits the back of the boat!  GREAT JOB PIKE FREAK and WAY TO GO JLOGGER!    And like Panfish said, Hell...fishin is just fun!
