  1. Past hour
  2. Going to give it a go Friday night. Light winds, warm night … even if they aren’t biting should be fun.
  3. Anyone know what this drip could be?…. Fished Olcott 2 weeks ago and just noticed this drip…. Never had one before….3 pic is where the drip looks to be originated…. Just below the exhaust bellow
  4. Today
  5. Yesterday
  6. Hey Polski, didn't want to leave you hanging...boat hoist maintenance guys rescheduled for today so didn't get out. Like many local guys I get quiet a week before the derby. Generally speaking on Seneca this time of year a person would do well to work the points. Also hard to go wrong working 80 to 120 feet of water. Good luck, hope you come in second place!🫠
  7. Good luck Songdog! Was in Wilson 2 weeks ago during the dumb fishing time but it was a blast when it was dumb! We had a few boats connected so I hope you got a few to link with this weekend. It is a big lake with lots of fish and lots of water to fish so room for everyone! Share pics of the fun so some of us can live Vicariously as we are remodeling the master bathroom for the boss!
  8. I prob have more. If this lot sells, I can list some others.
  9. Is that all the cowbells you have?
  10. I have one left chrome I will be up Memorial Day weekend
  11. I want this reel. Pm me your address please.
  12. They are running thick here right now in the East Machias, Dennysville River, as well as a dozen others. Some areas are black with alewives.
  13. As a 33 year commercial fishing captain, on the ocean we like to look at the Marine forecasts from NOAA but more importantly we look at the current conditions at certain buoys (Buoy report) they update these conditions every 5 minutes. https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=osgn6&fbclid=IwAR16z9Whk9eWTGk_PsOm7hnQroO3vRWp1hYTN-JGyA_ObKP-vC0rsEJMKsQ https://forecast.weather.gov/shmrn.php?mz=loz044
  14. Was out last Saturday out of Braddocks. went 9/14 on kings. Fish are spread out and are transitioning big time with little to no baitfish present. Didn't mark much of anything. We set up in 250' fished out to 450'....but our best action was both 320 and 380'. But that was Saturday...when you get out on Friday they could be anywhere. Bad fishing is better than no fishing, but the best days of spring our behind us...and the lake is not set up yet for summer. Good luck... And the channel is lowwww. Stay to the west side, go slow, get all people to the front of the boat...and trim the motor up.
  15. No, the meetings are still as they have been. Third Wednesday of each month except August which is after the picnic. Had one last night. Great discussions. The July one is hosting the state of the lake in addition to the normal minutes.
  16. Morgan-E, are you saying the monthly meetings for ELOSTA has been changed? I was wondering if there is a meeting this month.
  17. ELOSTA has hosted this on the east end since the old meeting format was scrapped. I do not know who hosts the other regions of the lake. It has been a more relaxed format with a ton of information shared. The more people who attend and get to interact with the presenters the better informed we will be. Plus it is great to hear some other fishermen's perspectives and ideas on the fishery - a good night out. Hoping to see a packed venue.
