Maryland? Is it a salt water engine to start with? What Bill said is very valid and good advice for a fresh water engine, price as well. But now your throwing an other equation into it. How old and or what year is the engine? Was it run in salt water all the time and if so for how long?

Bitts: That motor was intended to be mixed 25:1 with the old type oil of it's day. With the new twc 2 stoke oils of today you will have no problem running it at the normal 50:1 ratio. IE:> 6 Gall gas To 16oz. oil

Pull the intake hose turn pump on and run rv antifreeze thru it. You'll be good to go.

Better and less expensive, (Depth Raider) Not to speak of the support if you do have a problem.

Do yourself a favor and go with the sub troll or DEPTH RAIDER. I ran a F-H for over 15 years and after I switched I wouldn't go back.
