  1. Sorry I missed it Tom. Hope it was an enjoyable day & a very Happy Birthday.
  2. Sorry rolmops but, I don't know where you got your information. As a U.S. Army vet I took an oath at the time of enlistment that stated I would protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, either foreign or domestic. Please note the word "domestic". As a citizen I still uphold that oath and the contents of it. NOBODY should be able to say that as a citizen I can only carry a limited amount of ammunition and what I own as a weapon to protect myself and my neighbors. It was a right granted to me/us by our forefathers in the 2nd Amendment to protect it's citizens. A fully automatic weapon is not only used for ambush, but for attack as well. Also the larger clip allows you to carry more ammo without the need to reload all the time & not necessarily on auto.

  11. The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), because at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, the seasonal movement of the Sun's path (as seen from Earth) comes to a stop before reversing direction. The solstices, together with the equinoxes, are connected with the seasons. In many cultures the solstices mark either the beginning or the midpoint of winter and summer. The term solstice can also be used in a broader sense, as the date (day) when this occurs. The day of the solstice is either the longest day of the year (in summer) or the shortest day of the year (in winter) for any place outside of the tropics. Google is yer friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solstice
  12. Great info: This is compliments of Kjell Hanson's f/b page along with this comment: Fish like ledges, ledges are my favorite spot to fish in the fall, did you know many times fish could be on that ledge and you may not even know they are there, I call those "Dead Zone Fish"! Here are a couple interesting articles that could help you put more fish in the boat... http://www.hightechfishing.com/dzf.html http://www.hightechfishing.com/pdf/pros ... rsonar.pdf Thanks Kjell

  17. Thinking of heading South for a ROADTRIP around the first week of Feb. I think I'll be taking I-95 & see where it takes me, no plans. Anybody got a good suggestion where to stop for a while before heading further? Campgrounds, sights to see, etc. I'm taking my mini-motorhome so I don't need any motels/hotels. Anyplace out of this dang snow.
  18. Dang, that one on the right looks just like Ray K. with his shirt off.
