  1. Go to http://www.dri-dek.com the stuff is great. I have had the Dri Dek in my boat for two years it is great the water flows under it and it rolls up for easy cleaning. I installed the 1ft square sections they snap together and hold up great. My floor has taken a beating and still looks new. I used to have to clean scuff marks for hours off the deck now I only clean it about once a month. If by some chance you drop a rigger ball you will be glad you have it.
  2. Very sorry for your loss Scott.
  3. I bet there is more to it. But ten years of charges and a joint investigation, multi-State/Country investigation, doesn't look good. I see they have a lot of friends on the Elite Archery Forum. I will bet money the buck won't stay on his wall. Sean
  4. you will need some hydraulic hoses and fittings once you mount pump and figure out lengths. I got info from a company out west will have hydraulic lines to you in two days.
  5. That sucks, I hope you get some info
  6. That is one heck of a buck
  7. Great job Your off to a good start, my boats still ready to go will have to have a couple November trips. Sean
  8. Thank you Nick, It was a great trip it was nice to get some good Bows and Browns. Like Nick said the Lakers are sliding back out into the deep water 100 to 160 down out over 400 to 500+. We had a pig of a Laker on the rigger down 100 that broke off I think it might of got into the deep wire diver rigg. It was all spoons for us with the one Laker on a Flasher.
  9. I did the install on mine last March, 200 hp Yamaha and 9.9 kicker hydraulic steering. No problems at all with install and the unit works great. I troll all day and never have to touch the wheel. I had a couple questions with the install so I called Garmin and had the answers in seconds. It is one of my most used tools on my boat.
  10. Fished out of Severne today, started on the East side fish were where we figured they would be but so were the weeds . We picked a laker and a good salmon up in the crap and then had to go West. The Wind from the front we have moving in, and pods of weeds made for some poor conditions. We caught a few good salmon and lost some good bows and salmon. Fish were down 60 to 100 out over 450 to 500 FOW. We hit the boat launch just in time to get soaked when the rain moved in. I see they are calling for wind out of the North up to 30mph for Saturday sounds fun.
  11. Nice buck but deff 3.5 to 4.5 years old, just dosn't have the genitics for mass. I would kill him in a second
  12. No 99% the cop is giving some dumb a$$ a brake, same with the obstructed view with the air freshener. Probly going 60 in a 30 while talking on a cell phone and reading a book. Then get a brake for the crap hanging from the mirror.
  13. I don't know any one who got an obstructed plate ticket who didn't do something else wrong first to get pulled over for. And I have known a lot of them
  14. That sucks Closing the launch won't fix the problem but they got to try something. They checked my boat and trailer out last time I was at the launch and they found some hydrilla by the dock, and on some boat trailers in the parking lot. With the amount of water going down that cannel with the rain we have had that weed is probably at the North end by now.
  15. I like the new Clarions also and I hope they hold up like my Catalinas. I have 5 seasons also on 4 Catalina reels that I have wire on and they have taken a beeting, I have yet to have to take one off to get it fixed. I had a hard time finding the Catalinas this last year but I found some last week and have 4 more on the way. I like them better than the Tekotas for wire, it seems like with my Tekotas it is harder to reel in the wire with them.
  16. get the okuma clarion reels, they are fast. I had the penn reels I swaped them out.
  17. Had a great day on Cayuga today with three guys who were in town for a military reunion, and a half day fishing trip. These guys were a lot of fun they flew planes for the army back in the day, and they had no shortage of ball busting. Jason and I were laughing all morning. The morning started out with nonstop action the first fish hit the deck as soon as the rods hit the water; Salmon, Lakers and bows all were on fire this morning. The Lakers were huge again with three that were 10lbs or better and one that was 12. All of the salmon were health and were colored up some with hook jaws. The weeds were terrible today but the fleas are almost gone for the year. Dipseys out 200 to 220, 10 and 12 color core, 200 to 300 copper and riggers at 30 to 70 took all of the fish. The surface temp was 63 the thermocline has come up to around 35 to 40ft.
  18. Had a great day on Cayuga today with five guys who were in town for a bachelor party, and a half day fishing trip. The morning started out slow with the first fish not biting until around 9am; once they started we had a nonstop bite of Salmon and Lakers. The Lakers were huge with only one that was under 28inches and 9lbs. We had several in the 30 to 32 inch range that were full of eggs and weighed 10 to 13lbs. All of the salmon were good size also and were colored up with hook jaws. No weeds and no fleas made for some nice conditions for a change. I ran it all today we had a 16 rod spread out all day long . All the rods weren’t needed the deep dipseys, 10 and 12 color core, and riggers at 50 to 70 took all of the fish. We marked some bait up high but none of the high rigs took a shot, a few more weeks and it will be hot on top. The surface temp was 63 T-Cline was still around 60 ft. down.
  19. Dosn't need to be a crack head, Lot of scum bags that call themselves fishermen running around that will rob you blind if they get the chance. Some of them may be the guy you talk to at the dock that seems to be a good guy.

  21. like Ray said the spawning areas for bows have gone to crap, just like Seneca. The fish that do hang out in the creek come April 1st take a boot to the head. Dec wants to reduce the limit of Bows to one as well as start a stocking program for them. They also plan to have a five Lake trout limit. How would you handel the Lake? The Lakers in Keuka are Native they are not over stocked by DEC. You could poison them all and start over or try to do what DEC proposed and raise the limit and hope some one takes some fish. You could have a 100 fish a day limit on Keuka it wont help, guys wont fish on a lake for two pound fish when they can fish the other Finger Lakes. Eventuly they will eat the bait off and you will have a crash in the population. All the salmon fry put in the lake don't have a chance with all of the Lakers eating them up.
  22. Fished out of Fair Haven today with my dad and two good friends. It was my first time launching at the state park, we got a late start due to a bass tournament, and was my fault should have left the house earlier. We ran North West and set up in 120 FOW I only had the first rigger in the water 2 minutes when it took off. I almost got spooled, it was one of my small Tekotas with 30lb line they don't hold too much . After a great fight a 31lb king hits the boat floor , and I'm thinking this is going to be a great day. For us it got slow. A 18lb king and a 12lb Brown would hit the deck within the next hour then nothing. We had a screamer on the 600 copper that got off, then nothing. We packed it up and called it a day. All of the fish were down over 100FT and the temps were down 120 to 150 depending on depth. The 168 ft mark was loaded with bait and fish but they didn't want to play. We didn't make it to the weigh in for the Fair Haven tournament with only three fish we didn't have what we needed. From what I hear they turned on when we got off the water Jason was tarring them up on the East end at 3pm.
  23. Thanks for the reports they are appreciated by many Any change in water temp out deeper? We are going to come up in the morning. Was going to fish Sunday but looks like we will only get out Sat. Thanks Sean
  24. I spent the last week in Northern Ontario bear hunting with Mike McNay from Cantraps Northern Adventures. My wife, daughter and myself had a blast hunting with Mike and his wife Kelly. We rolled into town on Saturday morning and by 2pm my daughter and I were in our stand. Mike had told us that a few big bears were around the area so I told him we would hold out for a good one. Well at 3 PM I see my eight year olds eyes pop out and look over my shoulder at a nice bear over 200 about 5 yards from the stand. We spent a good half hour taking pics of that bear. She loved it and from that moment on she was on watch, we passed on two more bears that afternoon. At around 730 pm the big guys stepped out of the woods, after a long wait by both of us we got a nice quartering away shot at 60 yards and put down a great 400lb boar. It was a great hunt and to share it with my daughter made it a day I will never forget. So now I am in camp all of 8 hours and I am done with my hunt. My wife Tina also was hunting it was her first time big game hunting and was a trip she will also never forget. A morning later I sat in the stand with her in a Hang on I had hung about six foot above her stand. First thing in the morning a big bear steps out and checks the wind and drifts off into the brush too quick for a good shot from a new hunter. About a half an hour goes by I’m half asleep when I hear her pulling the hammer back on the Thompson 270. I look over my shoulder to see a big bear in the clearing. This bear slipped around in the brush like a fox for over 20 minutes before it finally gave her a broadside shot. One shot through the heart at 50 yards and her bear was in a pile not twenty yards from where he was hit. I was so excited for her I almost stepped off my stand. Her bear was another boar he went 250 and had a great head and coat. I have hunted and fished all over and this hunt with my wife and daughter was one of the best I have been on, and I will be going back next year with the family. Sean
