Looking for suggestions for a mechanic that would be knowledgeable and willing to work on an early 90's Mariner 115 preferably in the Rochester area.  Having a fuel supply issue, thinking an air leak and it might possibly be the fuel lines on the motor (I replaced the supply lines, fill line, etc on the boat this winter). The boat starts great, idles great, trolls great but sputters and bogs down when I try to get on plane... sometimes but not all the time.  Sometimes it'll run on pad full speed for 1 min other times 10 mins.  But usually it'll bog down after getting up and run at 20mph, sometimes I'm pushing water at 10mph.   No consistency.

You said you replaced supply and fill line, did you check or replace the vent line?make sure it’s its not collapsed or the vent coming through the hull isn’t plugged, mud bees like to get in there and plug it up. If the vent line is plugged in anyway it can cause a fuel supply to the motor issue.

Not trying to insult your intelligence, but this is what my boat does if the plugs are fouled from trolling with the big motor too much. Just mentioning that in case you can solve this with an easy fix.

Has new plugs in it, but I'll check them again!

I replaced the vent line as well!
