I have not. I have heard from some captains that they are good but not as bullet proof as the originals.

Have you got to use the new Saltists?
- Today

I run the original Saltists. They are bullet proof, superior drags, 6.1:1 gear ratio and great drag adjustability. The line counter placement is a pain for some but it doesn't bother me at all. I have had them since they first came out and only replaced one drag clicker in years of use.

Hey everyone, Wanted to get some 2 cents on walleye fishing the big O south shore. Has anyone ever had luck specifically targeting walleye either on deep structure or open water trolling? I fish out of Braddock's a lot for lakers and browns. Got to thinking one day, walleye's must be out there. Obviously, nothing close to ERIE numbers but would be curious to see if we could put a couple in the boat if we spent enough time trying. What does everyone think?

One way or another I will have more coming I might be working with Lansing Fire on their new rescue to do some joint training and see how their new system does with sonar in the next few weeks it’s a great target to practice tuning the sonar on Cody so thanks for the find .. Lily aka Zack brought it to my attention and I had some time on Patrol this weekend to work on the scan It appears at least 50 feet long and clearly has some mast or posts sticking up based on the shadows.. depending on what visibility is I could drop a dive group on it myself I am very intrigued …

very south end of Cayuga right in Ithaca in water less than 10 feet used to be very good for Pike this time of year...Not real sure if it still is, but I see no reason there should not be some really good Pike still available there

Local Shop/Store in the GTA/Niagara Region that sells TotalBoat 2:1 Epoxy?
Fronk replied to Fronk's topic in This Old Boat
I live in Canada. Unfortunately they don't ship here. Amazon is the only place I have found it but the shipping time is 2 weeks and I want to work on it sooner than that. I was told that a local wood supplier carries it, I'm going to be calling them for wood today so we will see! -

3 day delivery is not too bad. In Rochester (Irondequoit) there is a West Marine store. They have high quality epoxy resin, but here is a 3 day delivery option for your preferred epoxy. High Performance Epoxy Resin TotalBoat https://www.totalboat.com › resins › epoxy-resins Our 2:1 High Performance Low Viscosity Epoxy Resin cures clearer than traditional 5:1 resin, making it ideal for wooden boat builds. Rating: 4.5 · 18 reviews · $38.99 to $371.99 · Free 3-day delivery · 30-day returns · In stock -

Excellent day off Rochester! Looking at the weather report I knew we had to get out early. Left the dock at 0530 and motored about 10miles west passed Bradocks bay. Slowed down in 80ft and did some searching. Found a good screen 170’-180’and set up. First king was on before we finished. Worked the 42 line until then waves picked up then trolled back to I-Bay. Had 10 kings before a 0830. There was a strong westerly current and speed control was was tough so we ran 5 rods. 3 riggers and 2 dipsey, spoons on everything minus a flasher fly on the port dipsy. Rriggers set at: 94’, 106’, 80’ Dipsy 3 settings 260’ and 225’ Carbon 14, bad toad half moon, wonderbread,UV mongoose and two faced spin doctor with stub glow. Due to the current most fish came on a westerly troll. 3.6 surface speed and 3.2 at the ball. That was as slow as I could get with both bags. The salmon were feisty, even trying pass the boat. Went 15 for 17 Trolled back in front of the bay and road the waves in. 3’-5’ waves and occasionally 7’ er by the time we quit.
