    IMG_0250.mov I was able to get my 1 and 3 year old grandkids on a dock on a local lake that is always loaded with pan fish. This is the best way to indtoduce them as the fish bite within seconds, action is nonstop, and they can see the fish bite. You also don’t need to cast and just need a small jig head and a small piece of worm. Notice they aren’t afraid to touch the fish,

    This has been posted on the calendar as well, but thought that it might get some more views here. The Fishing for Hospice Fun Fishing Derby is scheduled for July 6th and 7th with rule sheets and entry forms found at the two weigh stations (Woody's in Pulaski and Screwy Louie's in Fair Haven) . It is for a great cause with a nominal entry fee (additional donations are welcome) and is sponsored through ELOSTA. 100% of the money collected will be donated to Hospice of CNY which services the SE Shoreline of Lake Ontario. Prizes are being donated by Jack Rosenswie, ProTroll, Addya, Indy 500 Spoons, Dream Weaver, and Danco Pliers. We are aware that this coincides with one of the Pro-Ams and are hopeful that those who want to do both are able to. If you have any questions, please reach out 315-709-99 five 8.

    North Shore at that time of the year, I'd say fishing off Toronto Island is good. On south side of that Island is a big slope/drop off. Ports to launch out of ... probably Promenade.

    Are you fishing into Canada or staying on the VT side? I haven't been in Magog in a while, we used to fish for smelt thru the ice over the sunken islands. I haven't had my boat up there in probably 15 years, But I've wondered about fishing the upper lake. I've never been beyound the border marker bouys.

    1988 31 foot Baha Cruiser for sale. Rebuilt motor installed last fall on starboard side. Boat has been very well maintained. Has auto pilot, radar, vhf radio with new antenna. Three digi troll cannon downriggers. Boat is docked at Krenzer marine on Sodus bay located in Sodus Point, NY. Stringers on starboard side were replaced four years ago and port side stringers are still in good condition. Boat recently surveyed for insurance purposes. Runs great. If you are looking for a great fishing boat, check it out. Garmin fishfinder with panoptix, lowrance fishfinder with 10.4 inch screen, brand new fish hawk temp and speed unit with new transducer. Asking price is $20,000. Fishing tackle rods, reels, spoons and a lot of other tackle not included, but willing to negotiate.

    Does anyone know what stage of the spawn the smallies are in for the most part? I'm really hoping that they have mostly spawned and moved back out deep before opening day rolls around. It just kills me to ride around that beautiful river only to see boat after boat sitting shallow ripping big girls off their beds. I will be like a kid in a candy store getting ready to spend a week on the greatest place on earth.

    OP, Take a look at a product called Stern Pad, it is made by Seaworthy Innovations (made in the USA). It is exactly what you are wanting. No holes in your boat Pad has a 3M VHB Adhesive. It won't come off

    I was told by some locals that it has to be the right water temperature for the rockies to run it. I have been fishing for them since 1993 over memorial day. I have been in a coat fishing for them and it has been 95 degrees. by far the last two years have been the worst. This year we only caught 15 keepers. We did manage to catch 75 small and large mouth.
