  2. I'll post this up on my local MA fishing site and see if anybody can help you out. What year is the unit?
  3. Today
  4. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this pen project possible. The Genesee River Pen raised Kings were released this afternoon. A really good turnout made this work detail go very quickly and efficiently .. thank you! Now as far as the condition of the fish... They looked great! Very lively, and in great shape. Maybe a handful of dead ones for 6 pens was a fantastic survival rate. Another good note... The Genny is churning out some chocolate milk water to hide the little guys. And most important, we saw zero Cormorants and gulls around the marina. The old saying " If you build it, they will come" comes to mind . So all the hard work and dedication from our volunteers is an investment into this great fishery!
  5. Been on boat two years always worked as it should....650.00...no shipping...meet Pulaski/Mexico area.....text at 315 771 1638

  7. Any guesses as to top weights of divisions?
  8. New in the box. Paid $699.00 on sale at Cabelas last year and decided it wasn't going to work for what I wanted it for when I started setting it up. Never worn and everything works as it should. $350.00 shipped to anywhere in the eastern US. Powered up. Solar charging capabilities give you up to a 20 day battery life according to the manual. Specifications Charger and owners manual.
  9. Yes, been offline for quite a while.
  10. In that case they are suppose to send tou one at half the cost, they call that: Update and if you look on the website you will see the Navionics Update it will be a newer car of 16 or 32gig caopacity
  11. I forgot to mention. It is for a 3/8” shaft.
  12. I was looking for Hank, he may be able to help me. I have an older Thompson that has a trim master trim tab system. I believe my starboard solenoid coil is weak. I have not been able to locate this part doe to them being out of business. Does anyone know who may have some old stock? Thank you in advance Richard
  13. My two cents on sonar interference: What to look for when experiencing sonar interference issues: •Use good quality resistor type spark plugs with shielded spark plug wires •Air under transducer (bubbles, prop wash, turbulence, etc.) – avoid strake and chine areas •Transducers mounted too close together •Transducer cables bundled too close to nearby power cables (coupling and crosstalk) •Poor grounding of electronics (this is a biggie!) •Clean battery terminals and contacts, recommend dielectric grease to ensure good contact and prevent oxidation •Good idea to run dedicated power to all your individual electronics, and not share power off the same branch circuit •Always best to power an electric trolling motor using its own dedicated battery/batteries •Excess transducer cabling (keep away from alternators and other sources of EMI) •Bundle excess cables in a “Figure 8” instead of creating big loops of cable •Low battery/alternator voltage will cause LOTS of problems! •Interference from multiple transducers using the same frequency •Inspect sonar transducers and cables for damage (e.g., debris, cracking, zip ties, etc.) •Underwater LED lighting can sometimes interfere with sonar •Sonar settings: Traveling at high speeds through the water compresses sonar information. Recommend increasing the scroll speed on your display to stretch out the sonar returns for a better picture. Just be sure to revert your settings when you slow down for trolling as too high of a ping rate will blur out returns. Increase gain, but not too much that you start amplifying clutter Increase “Ping” rate – this effectively increases beam coverage in the water Adjust sensitivity every day to optimize the water conditions for the day All that said, I would avoid using a ferrite core on the transducer cable, as this would likely filter out some of the high-speed sonar data streaming from the transducer to the display unit, resulting in an additional problem. Rather, you'd be much better off placing that ferrite core on the incoming power cable to the sonar display unit. Hope this helps.

  15. Thanks for looking, I'll keep that in mind.
  16. Can add other pictures of helm etc, next week. Not at camp till then.
  17. I took a different approach than usual. I had a very little used Lowrance outboard pilot hydraulic from a previous boat so that saved me about $1200. It is integrated into my existing HDS12 gen 2 Touch. I used a Vevor hydraulic steering setup ($350) on my 9.9 Suzuki. The setup only controls the Suzuki and not the main Mercruiser 4.3. I find it very responsive since it is not turning the out drive, just the trolling motor. I can trim up the Merc all the way when trolling if necessary. I mounted the helm in a convenient place on the lower dash and put a 4 in crank handle on it to turn the kicker manually. I have a low water situation at my cottage at times which is problematic for using main power to get to my dock. I can trim Merc up fully and get to dock with Suzuki manually since I have it set up such that the skeg doesn't go below lowest part of hull. Very happy with setup.
  18. Excellent working order. Going in a different direction at the stern of the boat. NMEA 2000 & Radar capable. Includes the following items: Head Unit/Bracket Power Cable Sun Shield Airmar TM165HW CHIRP Transducer & Cable Manual (not pictured) $550.00
  19. After speaking with Navionics again, the only card that would help would be msd/sd US east Thanks for your offers but they wont work according to Navionics
  20. I looked last night before work....cannot find that stuff...I may have scrapped it but don't recall throwing it out...not sure what you're trying to do but if you're having trouble with your ddis system, I gotta say, you'd be much better off doing away with it and going with the same kit I went with...runs way better and parts are readily available. I got an hei kit # 107-A from http://www.michiganmotorz.com
  21. This is probably true about the other boat. You have to find the pocket of them right now and once you do its game on. Same with lakers, once you locate them its non stop action. Keep looking in the 70 to 110 area until you find them and then stick to them.
  22. i would call or pm hank at L and M marine in port bay.hank is a great mechanic thats been working on boats for a long time.he is a moderator here on lou,so you can pm him.
