Possibly, but it didn't look like above. This was red and more ball shaped and was mostly submerged with about maybe a ft. above the surface. Earlier this morning, I contacted the Rochester Coast Guard for any information. They had only 1 other report of it which seems surprising...Anyway, they looked into it and said it was placed there by the Feds doing some sort of Geological Study and was done in early October while not informing any of the local agencies. Sounds about right... Anyway, this thing doesn't sit very high in the water, so keep an eye out!

x4 but don't hesitate to pull the carb and give a good cleaning. It's a simple set up.

Wanted WTB : Starcraft Islander Hardtop with outboard motor
Shakemsam replied to PA Matt's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
Crestliner Sabre 21'-27' from Mid 80's till early 90's then became the Eagle WA. not really uncommon. However the 21' was the most common w/outboard. Sometimes with the SST transom. And don't forget Lund although generally the HT's are I/O. Also Sea Nymph but I don't recall a HT model. -
No issues there.

Braddock Bay Channel - Water deep enough to get out to the lake?
Shakemsam replied to MrKato's topic in Open Lake Discussion
Something the locals have lived with as far back as I can remember. Although, I don't recall the trestle being an issue until the COE redesigned added their work. -

I'm not 100% sure...But, I would guess you hit the old trolley tracks. -
I would guess it's in the install of the new pump. Any chance you have the blades curled the wrong way?

You have a couple places in Sandy Creek on Rt 3 just east of Port Ontario. better luck west toward Oswego and even better if you look around Sodus. tough time of year right before winterization starts.. IMO, do it yourself. Not too difficult of a job and not at the mercy of someone else.

They were removing the bad areas that were breaking down.

Not a lot of options. if these are your side curtains , don,t zip them shut. Maybe have some zippers added to get some air. My Crestliner HT was an oven in the summer and adding a fan on the dash helped. also helpful for clearing the windows on a cold morning.

I haven't seen any mention of cleaning the carb(s). sorry if I missed it. Sounds like the highspeed circuit. do a thorough cleaning or rebuild. I have never had an outboard that didn't drip fuel when left in the tilted position. it generally drips right from the carb throat due to the bowl being full.

Boat launch cedar point?
Shakemsam replied to line guy's topic in St. Lawrence River Fishing Reports - 1000 Islands Fishing
cedar pt has no issues -
clean the carb(s) You probably picked a small piece of debris in the low speed jet. Remove the carb or carbs and disassemble and clean one at a time. If you are very careful, you may be able to disassemble it without having to replace any gaskets or o-rings. Use a good carb cleaner and a fine piece of wire. lots of videos on Youtube to help.
