  1. Still no ramp docks in yet as of 4:30PM today (Monday) The Town of Irondequoit has that job. Hopefully this week. The fingers on the other dock down there should have been disconnected for the winter. Several are damaged from the ice. Maybe next year. 🙄
  2. How about 2 conductor #10 marine romex. You could make the end connections water resistant. Waterproof would be harder
  3. $10 for membership is a good value. Free is a no brainer. Kevin
  4. To change from “for sale” to “sold” go to the classified page and the third post down has the instructions to do it.
  5. There is some good eating fish you got there. Especially that wahoo!! Looks like the weather is cooperating there better than here.
  6. We slice them into little pieces with a fillet knife and chum em
  7. Sounds like you got a twilli tip. Not needed for copper or steel but needed for stranded wire setups
  8. Glad to hear they helped you out. You can’t beat lifetime guarantee. They had an issue with the digital counters on the newer models but got it worked out
  9. I use a Special Mate box. Keeps sticks nice and handy and organized, but it is bulky
  10. Well said Chuck. I think about him everyday driving by the house. Thank you for the reminder of the date. Can’t believe it’s been a year.
  11. Good info Rolmops. I did the BoatUS online class last year. It took 4-5 hours, but on my schedule. You can stop at any time during the course and save what you’ve completed. I also had the anchor icon added to my enhanced NYS drivers license. Not to difficult to do. One thing I noticed during the course and also in the text above is you don’t need a boating course when renting a power boat. Not sure about jet skis. You would think this group would need the instructions more than anyone. The popularity of boat clubs for renting is growing every year, meaning more inexperienced people on the water. Happy New Year!
  12. Check out the trolling gear for sale by “troubles”in the classifieds. Flies and rigged tournament style hooks at a good value are just an example of what he has for sale. Very easy guy to deal with also
  13. That antennae looks familiar
  14. Congrats to your son and you also Tony. Great fish!!!
  15. I also have a Raymarine EV-100 self installed on a 25ft Pursuit w/250 Yamaha with Seastar hydraulic steering and have had zero issues on Lake Ontario. Can’t say it handles 4-5 footers cause I’m not out there if it builds to that.
  16. Thanks for that info. I will consider shipping them
