...it sucks out there. We only lasted a couple hours this morning before throwing in the towel.  Bait is stacked in 100-120' with marks out beyond that, but nobody wanted to play, and there were numerous swirling alewives around, as well as some big a$$ deadheads, both in Sandy Creek and in the lake. We managed to put a line on one in the Creek and tow it to shore, but it's still floaty enough that it could jump back in.

All the East wind we’ve had has pushed the greenish water west and offshore. There are some silvers offshore I’m sure. More East wind this week…..

Its crazy different. We spent one week out of Olcott and fished between the Somerset power plant ( the stack is down) and the bar. Everything we caught was between 10 and 30 feet down over 40 to 80 foot depth. We caught 3 nice Atlantics , a ton of Coho but only one King.

It was so clear at P'ville, my wife thought we were in danger of grounding when we were in 25' of water. Found some marks out at 70, but no takers. Called it early and got back just in time to get hailed on at the dock.

This year has been one of the toughest king bites that I can remember since 07

We have been here since April 23rd  fishing nearly every day.

When we first got here it was game on for 3 weeks then huge die off of alswife  tons of east wind  and weather watched them  shut down like a light switch.

Each day we target Kings with a few coho rigs out   on average we take 4-7 king shots if we land them or not is a different story, but if it wasn't for coho we would have some disappointed customers.  For me I just have to be honest with them upfront  king bite is poor and the coho bite is on fire.

Something else we usually catch A few lakers each day . I haven't caught a laker in 3 weeks  and I targeted lakers one day for 2 -3 hrs
