Doesn't really surprise me. Anytime I've gone there it seems like I'm the only one. With that and our short boating season I'm surprised it stayed open this long. It was nice to have them there for those things needed asap.

It reminds me of the demise of Sears. Their products are high quality and highly overpriced, although lately their prices did come down.
When Rob was still there, his knowledge, help and friendly presence made me pay their prices without complaining, but when he retired the place lost way more than just an employee

It never should have stayed this long. My last purchase from them was my Xi5 for a ridiculous low price. Unfortunately during transport, it was stolen off their truck at the Watertown Store. Rob made it right and got me another but it took forever. It was also during the plague, so everything was in short supply.

Prior to West Marine, we had Boat U.S. on Petten St and Rob was the manager, there. Much better location and always busy. WM bought them out and moved the employees up to E Ridge Rd. Made no sense!
