12v terrova, just but a pair of 100ah lithiums up front for the trolling motor. Wired in parallel and ran to 2 buss bars. One for each + and -. Put in a battery monitor that uses a shunt on the neg. That is between the buss and the batteries. A couple times last month and once again this weekend the breaker feeding the motor tripped. Reset it and increased engine rpm to keep the tm off the highest setting and it was fine. Every now and then I would look at the speed on the tm and it's at max but not tripping. The battery monitor shows amp draw also but I am not looking at it when the breaker trips. Used just the trolling motor rock bass fishing with now issues. Any thoughts? Thinking of running new wires to the plug at the bow and putting in a fresh breaker as I'm not sure the age of either. Thabks

Went out with my brother and nephew on Father's Day and the following day. Father's Day was a little bumpy, but we fished from 6:45 to 11, and ended 3 for 3 with a dink salmon, a laker, and a nice 22 lb mature. We fished from 125-200 fow both days. We marked occasional fish down 80-120. Today it was just my brother and me, and we fished the same general water. Again, we marked good fish, but getting them to bite was difficult. Today we fished just 7:45 to 10:15. Maybe we spent too much time pointing north, because, when we got back in shallower, we found some excellent marks. The 100 rigger went off as I was pulling the shallower rigger for the day, and we caught another nice king ( 19 lbs). We also caught a coho today. Overall slow, but we landed the fish that did bite. We ran two riggers with spoons ( free sliders also) and two wire dipseys with flasher flies. No hits on the dipsies. Fleas are pretty bad, and the flies were biting today. I'm including a picture of the lure that took the two big kings. I don't know the name of it. It has a white back. We also took a small king and an average coho on a magnum uv wonderbread glow spoon down about 50. The wave forecast was accurate today, as it calmed down from just a good chop mid morning. It's always a pleasure to fish with my brother.

1st update the software like you're doing. Next, do a factory restart.

Left the Marina at 5:30 AM and started trolling in 100 fow west of port. Hit our first salmon 75' down over 140 fow. Continued trolling to West Oswego dunes in 140-160 fow. Caught another on the 55 foot down-rigger and another on the 75' down-rigger. Dipsey fired at 65' and that was it for awhile. Later in the morning the dipsey at 100' screamed and a rigger at 130' down went off. All in all we went 6 for 10...all kings. Two of these Salmon were around 20 lbs. Finished up around 1 PM with our 2 man limit.

for sale : usa Ziggys In-line Planer Boards
AnglingAddict replied to FishingFool34's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
To anyone looking these are great boards - I run the coho and leadcore size for BTs - they pull hard and can typically handle a little more than they are rated for. Great price as releases alone are worth half the asking price here and aren't included with the boards when you purchase them from a retailer.- 1 reply

Bullet Bob, bottom bouncing with crawler harness works really well in nearshore areas for eyes.once you locate fish vertical jigging will also work. The trollers on suspended fish tend to cover more ground with more rods hence more fish. 2 guys 2 rods bottom bouncing can fill a cooler pretty quick and is not a difficult spread to put together. The “good old days” are now on Lake Erie eyes.

Afternoon trip out of fair haven today. Wind reports looked like it would be a pretty easy going ride but it decided to lie today. We left the dock around 2pm to be greeted by a nice chop. Set up lines around 100 fow going north and had a quick release that didn't stay connected. A NE wind turned the chop into some decent waves and trolling into them became more difficult to maintain heading and speed to decided to make a turn. On the turn took a nice 18lb king on some meat in about 140fow down 135ish. Water temp at the top was 65 and down near the bottom was still around 55 but was marking lots of bait and fish between 120-150fow. Around 6:30 the waves were still growing do we decided to call it after getting a small coho on a dipsey while it was still going out, but probably hit around 180 out on a 2 setting. All in all a good father's day.
