You just never know what might walk out. Pretty busted up, love to see the buck he’s fighting with.

Went and saw it this morning. Right side G2 busted off as well as the other tips on the right side. Also had a big puncture wound, hole in its neck below his head. He’s definitely been doing a lot of fighting.

Tomorrow is the first Thanksgiving I won’t be hunting in years. Good luck to those that go.

My daughter's amazing season is complete. She filled her regular season buck tag today. She took this guy while sneak hunting in the high winds and snow.

For the record she has filled her antlerless archery, archery buck, rifle bear, and rifle buck. Dad is still looking to put a tag on one.

Sometimes it’s not the size of the antlers, but the memories made. I thoroughly enjoy watching my little guy enjoying being out in the woods with me.

That's great. Before you know it, he will be filling tags and you will be paying the taxidermist bills and that is more exciting than filling your own tags. Enjoy it I goes fast.

I got this picture a few weeks ago, its a buck that was killed the first weekend of gun season. It came to me from a friend that knows the guy who harvested the buck, so not direct.

I was told that there is a known person who shoots at the bucks at night with his crossbow with field tips.

The deer had a nasty infection, so wasted meat but its being mounted, bolt included

Here is another buck that was shot the first weekend of gun season about 5 years ago just outside of Warsaw. The guy that shot it said it was actually feeding but that’s hard to believe with a bolt through his snout, although I have no reason not to believe him. The pic was taken at a local deer cutter.

This one is worth listening to a few times repeated due to wealth of content and myth busting.

Lots of deer out there plus still seeing bear tracks. I am happy to be off the sidelines and back in the game with the new season. Love tracking in the snow.
