Ruff Rider Live Sodus Report 2016 July 29-30 SALMON SLAM

Recommended Posts

Well, it is here, the Healing Waters Salmon Slam!!!

A lot of us have put a lot of work into the event and this year it is bigger and better than ever, helping more Veterans than ever!

I am going to update as possible over the weekend, but will be pretty swamped.

I plan to live stream as much as possible for BFF and the Slam on the "Salmon Slam" facebook page. It is still kinda new tech to me, so Id appreciate any feedback from folks on Friday to make it smoother for the Slam on Saturday.

For a fishing status... colder water has moved into Sodus and temp is only down 70ft or so. Spoons are still the hot ticket from 100-300fow.

Hey Nick I can see white caps crashing over pier. You should rename the Friday event to "big-wave Friday". How big is the surf?

I know, I can't catch a break with the weather.

2-4s with 5-7s tossed in for fun.

Well it got to last years 6-10's. Made the slow slog to 280' and made one troll in with waves. 4 releases and zero fish. No bait or marks. Cold water still inside 120' where we picked up
