flybuster 3 Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) Hey fellas! I look forward to these posts every year. It's fun to see if there's a lakewide trend as well as a starting point for many new anglers. Since no one else started one I'll kick it off! 1: carbon 14 was king all year every trip 2: dw 42nd 3: dirty white boy Honorable mention: lemon ice So what worked for you?!?!? bondouley 82 Posted February 1, 2017 Warrior green spoiler and warrior natural born slayer were my hottest spoons all year followed up by a green and glow revolution spoon Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Charlie P 31 Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) I put my stats together on Sunday DW standard Green alewife took 29%, Seasick waddler in many different sizes and UV took 22%, 42nd spoon 16%, Carbon 14 and Glow frog, tied at 9%. I didn't start keeping a good log until july, actually lost may and June stats, Crab face was really productive early in the year. Haven't done our flasher flies yet. Charlie P 31 Posted February 1, 2017 The MVP 2015 thread ended up costing me about $350 in spoons last year.
Sk8man 599 Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) Revolution spoons....any of them. The action of them is what does it and very speed tolerant. Edited February 1, 2017 by Sk8man
GAMBLER 429 Posted February 1, 2017 Purple Glow Alewive Stinger Stingray was my MVP. Browns and mature kings chomped it up all season.
pvelyk 24 Posted February 1, 2017 Once I got some Geezer's from ASB last year they were by far my most consistent spoon. I got both the original Moonshine ones and a Stinger imitation and both did lights out. But my meat catch went up pretty good last year, Big weening tribal flashers really shined there. Reel Fishing 0 Posted February 1, 2017 Meat, big paddles, diabotical rigs, various colors, studs for sure.
Blue Knight 0 Posted February 1, 2017 I can't complain the top dog in my box has been a 5.5 Apex either Rocket or Popcorn running five feet above and behind my two Agitators running in tandem off the ball. This system has even beat out a flasher & meat!
bondouley 82 Posted February 1, 2017 If we are talking paddles and meat rigs then by far the best for me was a 11 inch white echip flasher with a purple Minion meat rig. Been my most productive rig for 2 years now! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

battlehammer 32 Posted February 3, 2017 Pearl/black warrior was my top king spoon all season followed by old reliable NBKSent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
fishmaster13184 10 Posted February 3, 2017 Blue jeans was probably my #1 followed my a stinger spoon called gator, gator would be #1 if the lakers would have left it alone long enough for more kings to bite. Also I tried a nbk mag spoon by stinger every trip last year and never caught a fish on it, probably my worse spoon but I still keep trying it
K Gonefishin 2 Posted February 3, 2017 Moonshine Bad Toad and Sea Sick were best for me.
Reel Fishing 0 Posted February 3, 2017 To the guy that mention lemon ice, I am with you on that one, I run standard, and some custom variations of that spoon, low sun conditions or cloudy days has taken many fish for the past 2 years.
