This weekend looks pretty interesting.

Thought Saturday was going to be great. Didn’t see anything all morning and finally a spike at dark. Amazing when I think it’s going to be great and it isn’t.  
 

then day light pics during the bills game and good pictures this am while at work.

One week later and way more deer. Super quite like it should be slow too. 
 

had a buck in the dark rub and work a scrap 30 yrds away. Then walk right by. Got some fever to start the day.

Shot a nice buck this morning after shooting a doe 15 minutes before. Best buck for me in over 30 years. State land 10 pt

I've been quiet too..  been frustrated 🤣 trying to get on there bucks and it's been a  frustrating cat and mouse game so far.  I gotta get lucky and be in the right spot  eventually right? 🤣.   

Did take one doe.   Did my first all day sit yesterday.  Should  of today too but figured I'd get a stand moved in middle of day.   And sure enough one of the good  bucks walked right where I sat all day yesterday at noon today...

I’m in the same boat lol. Had 2 different shooters the last two mornings at 40 yards. No clear shots. One of these mornings it will come together

I had them in 3 different of my food plots tonight...none of the one I was in.     Even was in one changing a camera and moved. And they hit the one with the camera.  Frist time one buck has daylighted this yr, he's a 6yr old buck so he's no dummy!

Took this guy chasing on Friday evening. Double lung, went about 120 yards. We nicknamed him "The Eight of Nine Lives" from the number of times I've passed on him over the past three years. He had a broken G3 last year and a couple other guys on here who hunt near me also passed on him. Thanks, guys!

I had a fun hunt Tuesday evening with Gator.  We slipped into one of his properties after watching a ton of chasing in the morning on camera.  I left work an hour early and arrived around 3:15. I got into a new hang on stand in the center of the property and could hear grunting and crashing all over to my South.  15 minutes into my sit, a doe came out onto the trail and headed away from me being trailed by two bucks.  A minute later, here she comes in the brush from the West.  She runs right by the stand and stops at 25 yds.  A 9 point came crashing in and stopped quartering away at 22 yds.  I shot him and he took off down the trail to the West.  After I shot him, the buck parade started!  I took multiple videos and pics of bucks strolling by.  After 45 minutes of sitting, Keith came over and we tracked my buck 80 yds down the trail where he was lying dead right in the middle of the mowed trail.
