Guys have been quiet this year! Good fishing early, but has tapered off greatly with this warm stable weather. What’s everyone seeing out there?

Intake temp is tumbling after yesterday's NE wind.  Here they come!

I was out yesterday afternoon out of Sandy

Surface temp was 68

50 down 50 ft

It has been bad for me until Sun morning . Before that all I got was a few browns , an Atlantic , and real big Sheepshead on a J plug 60 ft down . I didn't see the big hooks I like to see

Sun morning I landed 4 mature and yesterday afternoon I got 1 .

And the screen looked a lot better .

It changes fast out there .

Can second HB2.  Surface in 65-80' was around 68°, and roughly 45° down 60.  Decent marks, and grabbed a handful of stagers and unicorn.

I won’t get on the water until 5:30 so maybe I’ll run out to 150’ and work my way back in until I hopefully see marks unless I see some on the way out. Thanks for the replies

Good slug of fish off Olcott this morning.  Saw WAY too many 2 year old jacks in the mix. Something needs to change.

Today was my last hurray for the season. I got three mature kings in around 60 foot of water out Sandy.

Now I am in the middle of cleaning the bottom of my boat with something called Slimy Grimy. It seems to work fine.

Been a fun season with many fishing hitting the concrete. I’m exhausted from the grind, but will likely will get out a handful more times over the next couple weeks.

Well, I got number 49, 50, and 51 yesterday. It was a heck of a season out there. Really one of the most consistent bites I have seen in years. Many of my friends out there had an outstanding season as well. Biggest for me was 25 pounds this year. I haven’t got one that big in a few years now. I’m exhausted from the grind, but I would never trade it. It’s my favorite time of year. For those still chasing, good luck! For me, off the the deer woods 💪🏼

Fisherman21, is it true that you dip your spoons in applesauce for scent?

Mostly peanut butter

Thank you. I was out there one night and some guy was telling me about it. He says you do it out in the lake, too. I don’t remember his name. Isaiah, Igor, or Isaac maybe!? I couldn’t tell if he was busting my chops or not. Thank you for the tip. I’ll put it to use this weekend. 🤓

I prefer maple syrup on my spoons

I chug it straight from the bottle. My wife disapproves.
