  14. We have a refund program in Virginia that you scan your receipt and certify that the gas was purchased at a traditional gas station versus Marina and you used it for boating or lawn tractor…non motor vehicle use. They send a refund of fuel taxes related to road use. You are required to maintain paper records for 5 years. The price delta between gas station and marina in my area for non-ethanol gas is between $1.25 and $2.00 per gas, but most lake area gas stations price their non-ethanol gas just below marina prices. So you then have to figure the travel cost in terms of time shopping for lowest price. I use the refund process because I use more gas mowing and weed eating 2 acres of lawn than I do boating/fishing.
  15. Well my AZ 9.9 Evinrude worked great out on those small, calm AZ lakes. AZ like many states have a size limit of 10 hp or less, thus my 9.9 fits. But Vermont's larger bodies of water has got me re-thinking my equipment. I think I might be better off with a 30 to 40 hp engine as my primary. Anybody have a good used 30- 40 hp tiller style or know of one for sale. Anyone interested in my 9.9 Evinrude for trolling? I called most of the marinas and zero results..."we can order you one".. LOL Thanks Speedy Cell/text: (520) 449-9999 or new email address: [email protected]
  16. Awesome to hear all the positive words! Thank you! Pulling the boards and dipsey rods heading in around 11:30am after not moving a rod for like 1.5 hours struggling, we dropped the riggers to 115 n 120 over 130' as I was packing up. Didn't even make it 5 mins before it hit, sister fought it outstanding and we let her swim off after a short trip to the boat. Called it a day afterwards- 110% luck! Here's the "Trash Plate" spoon she ate.
  17. Beautiful markings on the fish you are holding
