krux5506 3 Posted September 6, 2016 Does anyone ever chuck spoons around the State Park's pond outlet from a boat when the salmon start running? Not big on Salmon fishing tribs but might give that a shot assuming they are moving in a few weeks or so Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

bout time 70 Posted September 15, 2016 Fish are still there. Decent numbers can still be caught east towards Oswego. The fish are still setting up and preparing to stage. Don't be afraid to drag bottom and fish the marks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
nomis 2 Posted September 25, 2016 Anyone been catching kings in the bay or pond yet? We got a couple cabins in the park next weekend for my bachelor party weekend. Its definitely not the traditional weekend, so I want to try and make sure the guys still have fun.

Rook 0 Posted September 26, 2016 Just got back from FH State Park today, fished Sat. & today in the bay, diving channel, and pond -- didn't catch anything and never saw a salmon jump. Perhaps with the cooler temps this coming week it may help. Good luck and please let me know how you make out.

mrclean 26 Posted September 26, 2016 I saw one jump in the marina the other day. Just after the front moved thru. Its been cold and windy since then so perhaps this weekend we will see more action. I fished the hole a week ago and there wasnt anything in it. Its day by day at this point. I use storm lure (hot n tot) hot tigers they work the best for me this time of year. chum 0 Posted September 26, 2016 The lake has also been rolling. Out at nine mile temperatures have been swinging from 70 def to as low as 45 deg the last couple days. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Xxx 307 Posted December 2, 2016 Pretty pic Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United I can relate to that guys, especially if it were March LOL. Maybe no hard freeze this year, if it does get bitter cold there are lakes and dams that could freeze solid, that's no joke, I've never in all my put togethers saw the water table so low. The dam by me just has a river flowing through it. It's bad down here, if we get no snow or it doesn't rain we are in trouble.
mrclean 26 Posted December 4, 2016 Well we just had the two feet of snow across the area but the ground is still soft. thats why it melted so quick. It aint March yet lol. But its really not that far off.
greenhornet73 13 Posted December 5, 2016 You got that right. If I can get one good month of fishing on ice I'm happy, then it's back out there for browns by mid march.
