Legacy -The 2019 Season-

Recommended Posts

November 20 pm
42 degrees
NW wind 5 mph
Cloudy

Lots of action but everything was after 430. Tons of action around the stand. Even some mild chasing. Checking the camera really makes me rethink things. It's been tough to get in that stand with the lack of NW wind lately.

November 21 am
30 degrees
SW wind 5 mph
Cloudy
Frosty

Walking in this morning I got downwind of a stinky, rutted up buck. The smell stopped me in my tracks. He must of just let me walk right by him unless he was sleeping!

The only deer I put eyes on was a button buck. Very quiet out there.
One single gun shot all morning.

Lol I tried to move fast but my boots kept getting stuck in the muck. Snakes never bothered me but this one almost took a slug today haha

There wouldn’t of been any screaming sounds would there...... I can tell you I probably would of been waking up the whole swamp Ticks, spiders and now snakes......

Sure is a big 6 pt.   Wonder if he was always going to be a 6 or would he have turned into an 8 or 10 in another couple years?

Last 2 years he was 6pt. He did have a drop tine on the right side that was about 6" long you can see the where it was before it dropped off

November 21 pm
46 degrees
SE wind 5-10
Cloudy
Becoming scattered rain

Quiet sit. One young buck after dusk came by and that would be it in my 2.5 hour sit. I heard a ton of shooting after 445. A ton.

Combine has arrived so I would imagine by Sunday all the corn will be gone.
